This song meant a lot to me back then, and still made me cry this morning. But I'm healthy ✊ Finally healthy. Decades of struggling, a lifetime of torment, but I want every tomorrow I can get.
@@VariableChange88 Thanks for bringing me back! Today was an especially stressful day, but the thing that was stressing me out was so easy. 9 hours of anxiety followed by 2 minutes of shock that it was so effortless. I think that's a good reminder that often the stuff we blame for making our lives difficult isn't that bad when we face it, because we've been through a lot and are far more capable than we give ourselves credit. All the love in the world, hope you're well ♥
FLW is a heavy storytelling band. JT (lead vocalist) has told a story with each album, this one is about how death can affect multiple people. I recommend checking out the whole album. Each song is connected to another.
This specific song, the guy it is about lost his mother, was struggling financially, and turned to alcohol, and killed a guy while driving drunk. The guilt from that was the final straw.
@@pontious99 The whole album is a concept. The track "Hell in the Headlights" refers to the guy to died in that wreck and his now fatherless daughter. Also, in "My Life Before My Eyes," This man mentions his two sons that are gone. Their stories are "The Killing Zone" and "Brothers in Arms." "They killed one boy at home and the other overseas, and now I'm left to die alone and rot in this hospital."
The whole album is surreal, anything FLW does on their albums are AMAZING! Listen to Council of the Dead, listen to Two-Faced Charade, listen to The Incubus.. even their most recent EP The Negative. Listen to all of it and listen to the whole story they're trying to relay to you.
Ever since i listened to FLW, they strongly stand at my top 2 most listened monthly band since last year. I never onto Metalcore or Post-Hardcore scene but the way they crafted their concept album is just so cherry on top. So everytime i decide to play their song, it must their WHOLE album, and boom 40 minutes goes without any boredom listening to story of physcotic yandere love on Two Faced Charade, or story of eight dead souls whose connected by each other on Council of The Dead, or Story of a Housewife to escape her abusive husband on The Incubus, i just cant skip any of their song and always listened to it on right orders. Conceptually, their storytelling growing so good and become more depth which can be found on The Incubus although technically i dont feel it better or catchier than their 2 earlier work but still, that what make FLW so special, without any force they make me listened to whole album without any hesitation and following the whole story for 40 minutes or more. I hope they soon release their next concept album..they really deserve to be huge.
I've lost three people to suicide in my life and I'm only twenty-eight years old. This song makes me cry every time I perform it. I can't get through this song without at least a few tears running down my face. I love this song more than I love most of my favorite genres
I'm 31 years old, and this makes me literally have tears, I relate to this song so much, it's been awhile since I've seen it but it's harder every time, musically and emotionally.
This song has stuck with me for almost a decade. I remember the first time I saw this video. I was laying on my friend's couch in her dorm in the middle of the night and had to go outside to get some air after. It's so fucking powerful. The outro made me swear to myself I'd never be one of them, while breaking my heart that any of them were there.
Stupid spillage of tears watching this. As a medically retired combat vet, who almost ended it. With 11 army buddies who have done it. Reach out! Do not! Do Not! Do Not! Do Not! No matter how hopeless you feel!!!! Never give in!! 😢
This song is part of a story, each song is numbered for there story, the last song explains the end of the story. Each story is intertwined with each other, you dont see many bands doing that
This is my favorite band and this album physically hurts me to listen to, it's about a group of people who meet in the afterlife and recount details of the circumstances of the end of their life and each song is a different person who is in someway or another connected to one another, it's a really powerful concept and I can't recommend it enough.
been listening to these guys alot more recently due to life sucking but i think youd love their song The Fog its the mother of the man who this song is about
the album this song comes from is called council of the dead. the band said that every song is based off of real people and all the souls are connected like the guy he hit with his car has his own song and the mom it talks about has her own song as well. the stories they tell are amazing for sure.
They literally made a short movie based on another of their albums called two faced charade, the film goes by the same name and is available on RUclips.
The one guy with the my little pony around him once reminded me of myself and how I easily I could’ve been him at one point I didn’t have friends and was really alone the Brony community saved me from that loneliness it’s unfortunate it didn’t save him though wish I had met him at a Brony convention looked like a cool guy and maybe I or someone could’ve helped with the void that caused him to take his life so young
I love famous last words they are pretty under rated as far as metal bands go!! And all of the albums have a theme or story that follows through all the songs on them
As someone who has struggled with these feelings myself-it’s never the answer. If you don’t think someone would mourn you if you chose to take your own life, know that if I were to ever know, I would.
I heard a guy the other night start yelling "woo, wow, woo, what, woo" I live in an area of apartments. Everyone was getting annoyed and then I heard another voice "His friend just killed himself." Hearing that guys pain through the night was hard. "Fuck everyone of you, my friend is dead!" Please talk to your friends. You won't see the signs sometimes, so make sure they always know they are loved and even just say one day, even in a joking manner if it makes you more comfortable "Don't you leave me here. I ain't going nowhere so neither are you. We are in this together." Love and peace to all of you, stay strong and make sure your friends know they are loved. Ask for help if you need it.
The story of the music video, is the main character's mother had a disease, and died, so the mc was throwin into a deep depression. He resorted to alcohol (the medicine), and went driving while drunk, resulting in him accidentally killing a little girl's father, and leaving her alone. He was in so much grief from what he had done, he viewed himself as dangerous, and believed that "there's no redemption for those who take away the lives of innocents", so he went home and killed himself.
Pete and Bas - Sindhu Sesh you should’ve reacted to that as soon as it dropped. Your next upload needs to be Sindhu Sesh by Pete and Bas if you like bars then you’ll have your head exploded. It’s bar filet mignon
When the in loving memory comes up, and just remembering how easily i could've ended on it cause how high school fucked me up but im glad i didnt do something stupid. Im 27 with a great job "union bridge builder" got a great girlfriend "soon to be fiance" and two vehicle's so dont take life for granted cause it'll get snagged from you for just 1 second
Welcome everyday of my life I know of 5 people eho have done it I've tried 6 time and failed twice someone caught me and stopped me the eoukdnt ket me but guess what they are gone they did it but they stopped me what does that say about me hmm mm it says I weak I'm a lose I'm blind I'm stupid I'm alone

One of the most underrated bands out there. You gotta check out their other stuff!
You absolutely MUST listen to this entire album dude. It legit tells a whole cohesive story that is intertwined.
I love how the souls are intertwined, gotta look it up, but it's all awesome

Amazing reaction, it’s good to see someone just sit down and talk about this sort of stuff

one of my absolute favorite bands! love this!!! touching story everyone needs to hear.
One of my all time favorite bands. Much like For Today, they cover topics that just hit extra hard.
Sometimes I remember this song exists and remember just how much of a fucking BANGER it is
