Bang Chan made the instrumentals of Scars in 2019, 3RACHA all together wrote the lyrics and composed the melody, like they did for all their discography :) I really like this song a lot, it's just so touching.
Yes Scars has a choreography and an MVs and they are beautiful!!
Fun fact about Scars: it contains the beat of Changbin's solo song "Cypher" (there are 4 beats in this solo song and the first one is part of Scars instrumental) and Changbin's and Hyunjin's flow in the first verse is the same as in that solo song, the lyrics too but here translated in Japanese.
We don't know which song was made first but Cypher was released a year ago.
There's another first take, it was the first time for them here and it's for their song "Slump", written by Han and it's an OST, it's the ending song for an anime called Tower Of God and the opening song for that anime is another SKZ song called "TOP".
I love that fun fact. I love the way he raps good to know he's so creative too.
I'm so excited for you to learn more about straykids and watch their guides and videos, im not sure about the best guide videos for the group so i can't recommend those but i do recommend watching 'chans guide to caring for the kids' by closer to the edge, to know more about chans leadership and their dynamics hehe! it's kind of a humorous video, i really hope you check it out

I would strongly suggest the guide by skzvintage (it has three parts but the first two are about the members) as it shows just how involved they are in their creative process and highlights the members' talents well :) for their personalities its probably best to watch compilations of skz moments (im sure stay will suggest some if u ask) as they're really really sweet and funny guys and their relationship with each other is just very precious
If you like Seungmins voice I would love to see you react to him singing IU’s song Love Poem! He and two members from other groups did a cover when they were on the show Kingdom:)

Of course they write their own songs, that's exactly why they can explain it so well! They even produce the whole them themselves!
Scars is made by 3RACHA, but as for who writes more for this song, it is unknown. Bang Chan, Changbin and Han have never revealed about Scars yet but he did mention they made the song to tell their stories of their musical journey.

Mixtape: OH is so meaningful to all STAY if i can say that, the MV was out like a announcement of Hyunjin coming back from his hiatus.
A fun fact about OH it's that when the mixtape came out Hyunjin was on hiatus and that was the first time in months that we saw Hyunjin, so every stay end up crying over OH
Another thing, you noticias their fits, Chan is the only one with a scar, the other members have flowers instead the meaning of this is more personal, like everyone has healed and turn their scars in something beautyfull and Chan is still healing thanks to the other members 'cause Chan says that the members of Stray kids bassically save him

I agree with what you said about their delivery of the first song!! Personally I don't really connect with romantic love songs most of the time, but there's something about the Stray Kids' love songs that just hits different. "EX" is another love song of theirs that makes me really emotional. I think their ability to put their emotions into every word they sing + the gender neutral lyrics are why I connect to their music so much
Apologies if you have already seen it and I have not realised, but if you have not, I recommend their The First Take "Slump" recording. For me, it's one of the most amaizing performances from Stray Kids ever and I can listen to it again and again.
Yes, Scars do have MV and dance practice and both are really beautiful 😢If you want to watch a guide "Stray Kids guide 2021" made by Parme_Han_Cheese is really great and the most recent one. TeaNoSuga's guide is also great but it's a bit older, I recomend both :)

Omg!! I love your stray kids videos!! Thank you. It makes me think of things that i havent thought of like what you said for scars being a tattoo that they chose to do it themselves which is in a way why they try to continue to reach for their dreams cause its the path they chose and having scars came with it. Changbin also said that that line of scars becoming a tattoo was because he thought tattoos are cool and in a way he doesnt view his scars as something ugly anymore but a cool mark like a tattoo, carrying a symbol of their struggles to reach their goals.
My fav guide would be SKZ vintage's but theyre currently reuploading videos and i think what youre looking for is a nice balance of their personality and them an artist so the ones recommended by the other comments are great too!

Definitely the skzvintage guide!! It’s a very well put tgt showcase of their talents and will certainly blow you away :) part 1 and 2 dives into the members and their projects, breaking down their different areas each like rap vocals dance etc :) and part 3 will melt your heart for sure as it shows their love for their fans :)
Everytime seungmin sings live i cry i swear I can’t get enough of it
One thing that skz has already mastered is projecting vulnerability in their songs. From the production to the lyrics (which their producing subunit 3RACHA make, btw) their depiction of their vulnerabilities is very direct and very vivid that it quickly seeps through you. I discovered them December 2019 during "Levanter" era, and that song sits with "Scars", "Hellevator" , and their many other songs in the "vulnerable category". As much as I like their blood pumping hit songs, this sound of them is what pulled me in and made me stay. ❤
sadly i think skzvintage deleted their guide, the next best one is the one made by TeaNoSuga! she's a reactor and a huge stay so her guide is perfect and not too long! I'm glad you reacted to the first take, they started taking part in it last year with "Slump" and they're the first kpop group to sing in their channel in korean. I'm so glad you also noticed what a beautiful voice our I.N. has. He's such a great vocalist, all of them are. Literally stunning, all 8 of them. they actually have 3 the first take videos. The first one is slump, a closing ost for an anime titled tower of God. You should watch that perfoermance too! and also, both of this song (oh and scars) have an mv. You should watch it too. And yes you definitely need to watch a guide to know them more ❤️

The best and most complete guides for me are actually the one from HyunjinNation as personality wise, but it's from 2020 so it's not pretty new. And skills wise I think it's the Skzvintage one. They are so so good.

A song I'll recommend is their title track Levanter, as well as the English version of the song, it's one of their most vocal-centric title track with lots of beautiful headvoice/falsetto parts and since you said Chan singing in English hits different: it does and it's even more apparent in this song, the lyrics are everything

The Scars mv is beautiful and should not be missed. But the choreo itself is powerful, tender, sentimental, and you can't see it all or get the full effect unless you watch either a dance practice or live performance, so I recommend that as well.

Yes, as with most of their songs, 3RACHA wrote this, so Changbin is speaking about its meaning from the perspective of one of the lyricists.
Also if you look really closely where they have like scars on their cheeks on their nose by their eye those scars have turned into flowers even chance it looks like it’s a scar but it’s actually Cherry Blossom. There is an MV for both of those songs
My Bias is Han but I feel like I should tell you to react to the Love Poem cover from Kingdom because I totally get what you mean about Seungmin's Falsetto and it SLAYS me in that cover.

I highly suggest the guide by Tea No Suga! She is a big fan and primarily reacts to SKZ content! The guide shows both their individual talents and some more important facts that aren’t just jokes or memes. It’s way more informative. The guide by skzvintage is okay but it doesn’t really go that in detail about them as individuals just more of a talent show.
I really enjoy your reactions. They are very genuine. Even though you don’t know them that well you react with such enthusiasm, I really appreciate it. Stray Kids sometimes feel like the punching bags of Kpop so it’s nice to see when they gain new fans! It makes my heart happy. Discovering them while quarantined last year really saved me! So I am very thankful for them and their music!

If you want to watch a guide I suggest you to watch A DETAILED & HELPFUL GUIDE to Stray Kids 2021 edition by TeaNoSuga React ( in the videos there are some fun fact ) and also some introduction from skzvintage is very good too ( but for skzvintage I don't know if the videos are still available because I can't find anymore ). It's like 2 guide that I really like to watch to learn about them when they are on stage and off-stage.

1. The best one is SKZFLIX by skzvintage but i think that one mightve been taken down recently, I don't know if itll be back up whenever you choose to film your reaction to a guide so you could look out for it if you want!

I know you do so very much and I love it! But, when you can, please spend some time moving more recent videos to their respective playlists. Just to make it easier on us bingers as scrolling your entire video list looking for more recent content is a bit daunting.
