Wow ~ flew out of Dulles many times. Uncle worked nearby. They gave us good security! Got it together ~

In 1976, landed from L.A., couldn't find my luggage, let it go, and several days later, on the rebound, at Dulles a man walks out of a closed office door and hands me my luggage without a question and walks off! Nice. In 2002, took off on a 757 for JFK connecting to a flight to Moscow, and they gave me eleven scans, shakedowns, whatever they do to make sure I was clean--that was not long after 9-11. The plane with just twelve passengers leaped for the skies like a rocket. I never had such a good climbout in my life. All out of Dulles, Washington D.C.!
