Did you ever fix this?? We have the exact same problem except after about 10-20 seconds it goes straight back to the 1m timer and no heat has been put into the food or water
Paul, It turned out to be a faulty electrical connection at the power socket on the wall. Basically electrical arcing between the power plug and the socket. - Hope this helps.
Got the same unit. The microwave now is not heating at all. Other keypad / display operation, switch, door close open seems to be fine. Is it due to the broken fuse/diode?
How do you replace the light in this model microwave ?

I had a similar problem. It was a magnetron which had failed.
