Started watching when you guys were doing the new goat barn addition and building the doors for the tractor and stuff. Now watching the older ones with the bus and such. I am really amazed at how well you guys have become so cohesive and like know what the other one is thinking and get alone so well. Love watching all you do. Keep up the good work. Oh, to be young again.
Goats and mountains go together. Not just for the fun but what's there to eat. The alpine grass growth in the pure air is just heaven for goats. The barn's coming together nicely.
Your goats are the best. So nice that you have taught them from the beginning to follow and be able to be in uncontained areas. Did I miss something? Where is Juniper today? The barn is looking great and do the goats. Let you brush them to help them shed? Like with a wire slicker dog brush?
OMG the baby chicks…. Precious wee things. I love all your sweet creatures and how they enjoy you two so much. Those walks together heal me from the inside in this oh so crazy world. Happy to enjoy the life you’re carving out 🥰👵🐶 Ottawa fans big time
Lovley work on the Barn you folks , awesome hike with the animals love how the goats act like dogs isnt that cute . You have such a beautiful property with epic views you are so blessed. Ontario Canada.
Katie is an exceptionally hard worker, especially when Greg's away...lol 😂😅 The siding is looking great, I love the look. The goats really enjoy their play time with yall, cool. Love ya'll ❤️
I loved your getting started in the video, the flowers are gorgeously strongly colorful and the also strongly popping vegetables ...and the work you are almost done with...so nice seeing you so motivated 😊
Good afternoon you guys hope you guys are having a great day keep up the good work are you guys going to move the bus so you guys can have more room bugging you guys but you know gives you more room
Katie never ceases to amaze me, what a jewel. It was fun going on the adventure to the other area on the property and watching the dog and goats enjoy the outing. You sure have a nice property and are using it very well. Great job!!
My dad used to always tell me, you can judge a person by how he, or she treats animals !! Well I guess that means you and Katie are very very good people !! Also, I wanted to tell you how beautiful and breathtaking your property is !! I hope the two of you never take that for granted and realize how blessed you are. ❤🙏🙂
I don’t know what’s scarier, the dens on your lower property, or the broody turkey hen! 😅 The barn looks awesome guys, and Katie, you’re the bomb. 🙌🏻❤️ Greg with his goats = a boy with his puppies. 😂 Love you both! ❤
If y’all are having trouble getting the boards to self feed thru the planner try cleaning the infeed and out feed rollers with mineral spirits and then wipe them clean. The oils from cedar will cause the rollers not to grab the boards causing y’all to have to push and pull the boards thru the planner.
Greg and Katie, the barn is looking very professional especially with the Hardie Plank siding. The goats sure like to go on hikes so they can climb the rocks. Blessings to you folks.
Katie I love your clothes line😂❤, the barn is looking great and will be beautiful and a great place for the animals safety and protection from the elements, congratulations 🎉! That was an adventure on the mountain and the goats loved that run and climb, it’s good to get into nature away from the projects sometimes!
Here is the question of the day, when are you guys going to get rid of the bus. It is taking up s lot of space. Also do you think that some cleaning needs to be done around the house area. Thanks for this video, and see you again in the next one.
FYI: Hot water or warm water freezes faster than cold water. Its called the"Mpemba affect" hot water is closer to its evaporation temperature so there is less water to freeze, also cold water traps gas particles which causes cloudy ice and takes longer to freeze plus as the temperature changes it gains momentum lining up the molecules. That's not to say that warm water isn't better for the goats to regulate their body temperature. That little tid bit of information I did not know but it makes sense since hot coffee or hot chocolate help warm humans when they are cold. I also agree with everyone else about wearing s mask when cutting cement board and even wood. Some cedars will actually make you sick with flu like symptoms.😮
You guys are doing a great job. Both of you probably should wear a mask when you are cutting that fiber cement board as the silica is NO JOKE. Your goats crack me up.
Your goats are well trained to follow you down that road. Must be good pets. P.S. I had a goat once (Brownie) I was surprised he ate poison Oak leaves with no consequences and he liked going to town in my old truck to the drive up bank and feed store.
If I had a homestead I would definitely have some pygmy goats. They have such interesting personalities and are eager to interact with humans. Seeing you go for a walk with your goats is a hoot.
How gorgeous is the area and saw a river way down there... pretty cool...and the interesting one was seeing how the animals follow you and work for your attention...kkkk...just like a child..😊❤
one thing you might think about get some long ropes and staking the gouts out around your home to eat the grass and other plants around the home and forest to keep clean I watch this one channel on youtube and they made small areas to keep their sheep and goats to eat the grass and stuff in the forest around their place its just an idea
Greg, you should build yourself some I-Beam saw horses to work with instead of those folding tables. A lot more stable and safer for the two of you. Mill some small trees for 2x4 and make yourself a portable safe workstation.
You should be very proud of Katie, she is an amazing woman. You guys have some amazing cliffs and some seriously BFRs (big _______ Rocks). It appears that Greg is more nimble than the Goats LOL Awesome video and I always look forward to your next video! The barn is coming along nicely. It will be awesome for the animals in the Winter months ahead, after all there are really only 2 seasons when you have a homestead...there is Winter and there's getting ready for Winter.
Luvd the exploring 👍🏼
And Katie with her hair down💃🤩
When your in the Bush side arms at least yall know this ......
Now git busy on the next video!!!
Very fun outing

That siding makes it look alot better. Wish it was on your house also.
Hope you guys are safe. And not near the fires. I'm in philly, and we're receiving warnings of bad quality air due to the fires in Canada. Be safe...
Were okay, no fires near us so far 🤞
@@ThisOffGridLife That is good news 👍
You guys got it going on in the Mountaineering Goat whispering department!. The barn is looking awesome 👍
Your goats are the best. So nice that you have taught them from the beginning to follow and be able to be in uncontained areas. Did I miss something? Where is Juniper today? The barn is looking great and do the goats. Let you brush them to help them shed? Like with a wire slicker dog brush?
Love the contrast between the blue/grey and the wood !!

The turkeys have been broody since we got them. I was able to pull the darker ones of the nest to get the eggs but the gray one comes after me 😅

Fun hike down the hill. Barn looks great. Thanks for sharing
Great job on the video!

Katie is a worker, goes so much easier with two. The barn is looking great. Do you have a problem with tics on you and the animals?
Haven't seen a tick in years, thanks to the chickens
Wow that is worth having chickens 😂
Really enjoy your youthful approach to this adventure. Also fun to see when you are just being yourself.

Yeah so the barn is nicer than my house. Thanks for sharing.
pěkná procházka z kozami
The barn is looking great
You both did a beautiful job building that barn. I am going to copy you and build one just like it. Awesome video !!❤👏✌🏼😎🥇
Great explanation about the insulation!
one thing you might think about get some long ropes and staking the gouts out around your home to eat the grass and other plants around the home and forest to keep clean I watch this one channel on youtube and they made small areas to keep their sheep and goats to eat the grass and stuff in the forest around their place its just an idea
Beautiful country. Perfect for goats.
nice to see you again
Hope with all the fire , that all is fine
Nice to see the goats out and about! Eddie
It's a barn!
It's funny how the goats follow along
and look all dead wood that down on the gound around the place you should gather is up to use for fire wood
Beautiful barn. You may want to install a wire goat barrier over the interior windows. They are nosey critters,, I learned the hard way :)
The only "insulation" my dad used in our barn (North Dakota) was just scraps he didn't have anywhere to throw. Scrap metal etc in in-between lol
