    Hi. Can you please clarify if there is any provision of offering puja to the deity inside, through priests? Like Jagannath temple? Or are we just allowed to have darshan of the deity?
    Will be visiting soon hence asking. Please provide some information.

    • @travelwitharihantbaid
      @travelwitharihantbaid  4 дня назад

      Hi. There are several puja’s that you can book in advance, especially the early morning 3:30 AM puja. However, I am not sure if they allow you to sit in front of the main diety and then the priests perform puja with you involved. I have not seen this happen when I visited twice.
      Darshan of diety is allowed from near but I have not seen any one touch it except priests. I am afraid I am not is position to provide you accurate information here on Puja.
      I took the ₹500 vip ticket for darshan. That allowed me to get very close to the diety, but not touch it

      @travelwitharihantbaid  Год назад +1

      For you kind information, the Hindi pronunciation of Kerala is Keral. Also, I dont understand what do you mean when you say atleast respect the place when you are there ? I intend to respect places even when I am not there. Even if by mistake some one mispronounces a name, doesn’t mean they disrespect it. It can just mean that they are not informed or aware. You chose to ignore the entire video where I praise the culture, the temple’s architecture and its vibes but you point out something which should not even come into picture and furthermore your observation is incorrect anyway. That is what hurts the most !

    So it was not richness like of British.
    Chinese..Dutch..Greek ..Portuguese etc but surely a part of it was DONATIONS AND GIFTS by different ambassadors of countries who tied with Kerala for SPICES.Trivandrum was not a PORT but KOLLAM WAS.

    Don't mislead people by fasle statements.
    Most of the Temples in Kerala are managed by Devasom Boards. Government can not take money from Devasoms. Government can take loan only with the permission of the high cout of Kerala. Never has Kerala Government taken loan from devasoms because , loan can be taken only when there is an unavoidable emergency, and the court should be convinced about the emergency, other factor is the huge intrest for the loan. The present government has spent nearly Rs. 800 cr for the temples. that has been done by different governments from time to time.
    Only a few temples make big money, rest the majority doesn't have money to pay even salary Or other rituals of the temple. So the devasoms pay small temples from the revenue from big temples. It is not always possible for the devasoms to do this, so they request the government, then the government grands money to devasoms.
    This are the facts.....
    If you don't know the facts, and if you wish show the facts, do research, and then show your videos....

      Govt is plundering the temples under the garb of managing it. Recentlyz in the middle of covid the govt was planning not auction of temple utensils. It has already misappropriated and sold vast lands owned by the the temples. Even with 1000 of crores collected at Sabarimala, Amabalapuzha, Guruvayoor etc there is always a shortage of money for the upkeep of temples and delay in paying the saleries.

      I bought a ticket for quick darshan. It took 20 -25 mins. So total you can complete in 1 hour. In normal darshan line there will be rush

      Go for the first entry at 3:30am. No rush. There are timings for darshan and the waiting time is less if you follow the timings . I live 15 min away from the temple

    Sir not even a single penny go to government as of today. All the temples money go to special accounts maintained by special authority appointed by govert but under the supervision of high court of Kerala. Any hindu can approach any misappropriation to high court with simple petition and high court will listen. Last two years government of kerala spent from its budget 200 crores plus to hindu temples. All Kerala know this truth and you can verify official documents. The biggest temple of Sabarimala doesn't get even 200 crores income even in a year but Kerala government's 5 days Onam liquor sales net profit may 300 crores.

      Also any where in developed communities after economic growth religious places get abandoned by worshippers and Kerala hindu temples started this already and other religions will follow shortly. Government of Kerala requires more investment in future as salary as well as maintenance of the temples. Just analyse the issue with proper data.

      @@technow7992 you first analyse the issue properly, where are worshipper's abandoning temples?, you might have abandoned worshipping it's a part of daily routine for thousands and lakhs of people, could you explain your comment don't give cock and bull stories about abandoning temples, just because you have become materially well off doesn't mean you will forsake worshipping. Sabarimala temple money that it gets as offerings from devotees of other state's are used by Kerala State government for it's own purposes, you can't deny that, 300 crores is no ordinary amount, also do remember gold and silver too get deposited by devotees, which are documented for obvious reasons.
