Hi. Can you please clarify if there is any provision of offering puja to the deity inside, through priests? Like Jagannath temple? Or are we just allowed to have darshan of the deity? Will be visiting soon hence asking. Please provide some information.
Hi. There are several puja’s that you can book in advance, especially the early morning 3:30 AM puja. However, I am not sure if they allow you to sit in front of the main diety and then the priests perform puja with you involved. I have not seen this happen when I visited twice. Darshan of diety is allowed from near but I have not seen any one touch it except priests. I am afraid I am not is position to provide you accurate information here on Puja. I took the ₹500 vip ticket for darshan. That allowed me to get very close to the diety, but not touch it

For you kind information, the Hindi pronunciation of Kerala is Keral. Also, I dont understand what do you mean when you say atleast respect the place when you are there ? I intend to respect places even when I am not there. Even if by mistake some one mispronounces a name, doesn’t mean they disrespect it. It can just mean that they are not informed or aware.
