Dang, this is one of the interviews I wish it was an hour-long so we could get a deeper look into Aron's thinking! I will say though that I think Aron's naivety is very apparent. Stephanie was definitely trying harder to use/manipulate Aron more so than Rob ever was/did. So I don't think Aron should give her any credit that she wasn't "that" mean. Aron, edits only reveal how people are whether they are taken in or out of context. Stephanie made herself look bad & as a disgusting villain, not the edits. She has no one to blame but herself even if Steph thinks that's being "strategic". Stephanie makes it painfully obvious that she admits to lying in confessionals & discloses her trust issues. Someone insecure like that of course is going to try to manipulate Aron (the percevied weaker player emotionally/physically) hardcore as Steph only cares about herself. This is on display when Stephanie even goes against her own night owl alliance focusing on Alyssa rather than eliminate Rob, should both be available to be eliminated. Aron's sadly to gullible to see through her BS & made some detrimental mistakes that ultimately cost him the game. Here's to hoping that Rob avenges Aron & Alyssa to a lesser extent, so that Stephanie never wins! Afterall, like Rob said in his confessional, "This means war!".
He was going to vote out Rob. When he didn't go with the plan it was obvious. He's saying Stephanie because he wants to be perceived as a loyal person but the reality was the pressure of all that money got to him. That is fine, but be honest at least.
