It is nice to meet you Lousie and hello Marly. Both tags are just beautiful. They are so different, and the aesthetics must be viewed as such. I love the green and the gold and browns. Well done ladies. And I enjoyed your swap videos. Marly, you did it again, another great video. Love you.
😂 I never really know what I am doing when I start crafting. It is refreshing to know I am not the only one. I play it too safe. Time for me to let perfectionism go and have some fun!
Hello to my favorite double trouble duo, it was so fun to watch you two create these awesome layered tags. Hope their will be more double trouble videos to come.
Both tags turned out lovely! I really appreciate the opportunity to compare the slightly different approaches and the reminder to not give up too soon. Many thanks 🙏🏻
Thank you so very much for the lovely Saturday afternoon Master Class in Mixed Media techniques….and COOL!! You two, your projects, the Tim Holtz mediums - all very cool! Absolutely amazing!
Diese beiden Tags sehen sooo fantastisch aus , wunderschöne Farben und Techniken ❤ Vielen herzlichen Dank für eure Inspiration ❤ Viele herzliche Grüße Susanne ❤
Enjoyed video and watching the process from beginning to end. They both are absolutely gorgeous . Love watching you both craft together. Perfect match.
This is such a brilliant video. I love watching your different techniques and having you carefully explain them for us. I think I’m going to go back and watch this one several times. They are both beautiful makes in my eyes. 🤗🇨🇦🤗Liz
I love the Double Trouble series! It’s so interesting seeing you work side by side, not only using different products, but also different ways of applying those products. You two beautifully demonstrated the importance of playing with your products. As always, I’m looking forward to seeing what you do next. Hugs from Ky, USA.
I love how these have both turned out so beautiful and unique. At first I did not like the color combination that Luise used, but the end result is gorgeous. I was more drawn to Marlies colors and now what I see looks similar to snake skin....which is probably not what you were going for, but it looks very cool. thank you for doing this side by side because it shows how similar and different the same steps can be and of course makes me want to play with what I have Audrey
Really love your creations! I will definitely try this it! Thanks so much too for showing us that we don’t have to have the specific stamps and/or stencils to have a beautiful outcome. ❤❤
When she put the distress crayon on the green "bubbles" it gave it a 3D effect. I can't wait to try this. Thank y'all do much for the inspiration and knowledge
It was very funny to watch you try it out. 😊 It was also interesting to see your different approaches at the same time. I think it was great that you also showed alternative possibilities. 👍 In general, you should just try out a lot to get to know new effects. Your backgrounds are both a dream. Wonderful! 🤩 A very entertaining video, I look forward to the next ones. 💚
Love how both of these turned out, especially the greeny tag with the butterflies, or with a die cut of flowers, and the floral one is beautiful & does stand alone, although I’d be tempted to add some crystals or sparkle to the centre of the flowers & some gold mesh ribbon to the top. Really interesting watching them both develop
I really, really enjoyed this video 🤍 It was very interesting watching and listening to you both teaching everyone in your own, distinct styles. That came out in your finished tags 😍😍😍 I was drawn to you and your instruction, not because it was better than Luise's, but because I'm more used to your style of instruction because of the zoom meetings where your teaching is much more personal to me since thats how the patreon zooms work 😍 Before you started did you decide to use the bubbles stamp and the circle stencil because they were both circles? Luise's was similar in the tiny flowers stamp and then the flower stencil 🤔 I'm not sure I would've given it that much thought in the beginning 😂 Thank you both for a very, very informative teaching video ❤
For this video we did decide up front on the materials, but normally I just start with something & the steps are coming together during the making process. Thank you for your nice comment ❤️
I love watching you guys together. Plus I've learned so much techniques with the Tim holtz products and what they really can do. My husband and I were both in all and we are both artists ourselves. And it's just amazing I can't wait to try this on a rectangular canvas as I look at it as a tag lol it's going to be awesome. Thanks a lot for sharing all these wonderful products and techniques with us. I hope you guys get together many more times to do more and more tutorials and techniques together. The other thing too is that you explain it step by step which is amazing and awesome too. I watch this video twice because I just love the techniques. And the outcome was incredible on both tags.
12:25 Absolutely love that gorgeous misty forest background 💕 I must do more finger painting 🤔 Get back to my kindergarten roots 😁 And I love Luise’s background after you added the brown to tone it down. I would never have thought of doing that.
Definitely enjoying your collaboration. Great video. Thank you for sharing the things that are not working for you as well as your wins. Blessings from Canada 🇨🇦
I have been absolutely inspired!! 🤩Thank you! I just made a tag using these technique and while it isn't nearly as elegant as yours I am so proud of it! I will give it another try. ☺ Thank you so much for sharing your incredible talent with us! ❤
Hello Marlies and Luise so this was interesting to see how using the same but different mediums would work side by side. I have to say I thought in the beginning Luise wasn’t going to be happy about the colors mixing (not her colors) and then I was thinking Marlies yours was amazing and then the table turned wow! I do say flowers are me all the way but that could have changed if Luise yours didn’t turn out as good as it did. I love it so much. Marlies I’m not much of a green liker but I sure did like yours in the start and I think you did too. I liked the idea of changing some of it to a lighter brown, tan I’d like to see what it looks like if you do. You do such awesome work you can do anything. Your both two amazing crafters. Enjoying the videos.
Mary's tag would be great as animal skin or something like that. If only there Tim Holtz African animal cut outs. Ha. It was very fun watching you two experiment!
Im binge watching your collab. Love what you are doing showing different ways of using the products. Just subsvtibed to your channel. You both work great together. TY xx
I love this and I love the layering which I'm still trying to get the hang of, any suggestions? Thanks and you didn't leave a link for the flower stencil and I really want to try them. Can you give me the item number or something please so I can find it. TIA 😊
It is nice to meet you Lousie and hello Marly. Both tags are just beautiful. They are so different, and the aesthetics must be viewed as such. I love the green and the gold and browns. Well done ladies. And I enjoyed your swap videos. Marly, you did it again, another great video. Love you.
Thank you Francine 💕

The lizzard......great idea 🤗
😂 I never really know what I am doing when I start crafting. It is refreshing to know I am not the only one. I play it too safe. Time for me to let perfectionism go and have some fun!
Yes! Have fun & Happy crafting 🎨
These tags are beautiful, they look like they have been sitting in a box in an attic for 100 years, so Vintage Antiquey looking, great job girls.

Mary's tag would be great as animal skin or something like that. If only there Tim Holtz African animal cut outs. Ha. It was very fun watching you two experiment!

The tags were cut out the TH mixed media paper 👍
I love this and I love the layering which I'm still trying to get the hang of, any suggestions? Thanks and you didn't leave a link for the flower stencil and I really want to try them. Can you give me the item number or something please so I can find it. TIA 😊
I found you the number of the floral stencil....THS077
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
🙏🙏🙏
You both are better than Tim Holtz alone…. 😍
❤️
we've learned so much from him! it’s not about who’s better! its all about getting inspired, learning something new and having fun together ❤
Marly’s looks like a genuine snake skin! 😮
Did not even crossed my mind, but now you say so ....
@@Marlydesign I live in the southern US and we have all the poisonous snakes and it reminded me of a snake immediately!
And that’s not a bad thing because some of them are quite beautiful!
