Would you consider assisting seniors with appointment scheduling and reminders, bill pay, medication reminders and being a liaison between patient and provider…to be in the virtual assistant category. Anything a senior would need that can be done virtual. Or would that be concierge? Thank you!
This is a great question and one that I've seen from time to time. From my understanding, while elderly people NEED this type of assistance, it can be hard to market to them. I say that because most of them are not active online, or have no idea that virtual assistance exists. If you decide to market to this group of people, I recommend that you try speaking to their adult children. These middle aged people who are caring for their aging parents are usually online. Something to keep in mind as you create marketing materials, verbiage etc! And for what it's worth, last year a woman reached out to me to help her find a VA for her aging mom, so it does happen!
@@ErinBooth thank you for your reply! Yes I was thinking that! My dad is a senior who also had a laryngectomy. People have a hard time understanding him on the phone. I manage his healthcare portals and all of his phone calls. I know there are individuals out there with similar issues. I just have to get creative with marketing this! Start marketing yourself online as virtual assistant that specializes in social media. You're more likely to have engagement if people know 1 niche that you specialize in!

Nah - business are built on human relationships. Plus all of my clients are so busy that they don’t have the time, energy, or interest to tweak ai prompts until they get the response they need.
