Great case doctor! i think straight line access should not be compromised in upper 6 in the greed of preserving tooth structure. It is worse when canals like this are missed and patient opts for extraction rather than re-endo (atleast that's the case in my country). unrelated but what are your thoughts about using light cure gic or flowable composite for immediate coronal seal.
I sometimes see that white dot(thank you for confirming it/this tip ) or a hint of it, and use an activated tip of an 010 Mtwo file (I cut back one mm of the tip) and try to enter.that's when I can't get any any catch with manual files and I am pretty sure that there is a canal there...and boom it enters. but not always can go down all the way on an mb2 even if it's opened with a rotary file. hmm sometimes when it's blocked I do the molar in 2 steps. One visit of 40-70 minutes just to treat mb2 and obturate. most of the times I spend more than 20-30 minutes on mb2. almost never got an easy mb2. also great video!
Thank you for the great information. I would like to suggest the usage of a microphone because your voice is soft when the video is played. Thanks again.
Thank you very much Impressive CBCT image it did show suspicious structure space and very subtle potential additional B-orifice at beginning and portal of exit at end , two merging DB'S and big Palatal with apical split I believe. another CBCT with highest possible radiation dose for HIGH RESOLUTION to end endless speculations . I love to know these things even though I'm not dental student, I only used to be a patient once, had failed root and decided to learn everything in order to choose extraction or give teeth chance .
Thanks a lot! So much fun watching your videos. Do you have tips or a video on where to expect an hidden db2? Sometimes i think its even harder than finding mb2. Greets from germany
Hello! THank you from Canada! I have a hidden db1 that was calcified if that would interest you. I've been meaning on sharing it - i think i found mb2 first in that case (vs mb1) thinking it was mb2. I couldn't find mb2.......and then thought to myself....maybe i'm in mb2. Sure enough..
Iv had a similar case sometimes when the mb2does not really start at the floor. And way deeper. Plus its calcified how do i avoid perforating in the inner wall doc. Sometimes even a cbct isnt helpful in tracking down an outline. Any tips
thank you for the video.. is it better to obturate canals individually to avoid the problem of cone coming out especially if there is no tug back??... could you make a video on how to sear off the gp and which kind of pluggers to select and use
Hey Dr. Ash, any tips on obturating multiple canals at once? I find that you cannot see where the orifices are once you have that much BC sealer down there on the chamber floor. Are you doing it all by feel? Also when you're inserting subsequent gutta percha points, I end up scraping off some of the BC sealer I coated on the on the point. Is that a big deal?
Use less sealer, you can also put some in with a k file before you put the GP in, if you can’t see the other canals do them one at a time- trim the GP off with a hot tip (I love it) or ultrasonic with the water off. With practice you get neater and neater with your GP/sealer placement
Great video doc, can you share the names of doctors you follow on instagram or other platforms that you look up to. It’s always a good thing to be inspired by others as well.
Absolutely. I used to watch all of Dr Cliff Ruddle’s Videos (he has them on RUclips and his website). Dr Stephen Buchanan (of course). He has some amazing stuff on YT. The other doc I watch here and there is Dr Bobby Nadeau- he’s at the wild end of technology.
What kind of disease I have on my teeth I've pain on my left 4th teath from front its pain start often that's why I ignored it because it's pain didn'feel so much & stay longer but this time it's start pain with 2nd teath witch is joined with it and if I keep cold water on my mouth & squeeze or push these teeths down side pain goes please help me I'm leaving too far away from dentist & I'm not trust on him for some reason

also great video!
I think scouting files can save lots of time and effort in negotiating these tiny canals
Great video per usual.
This is top-notch job. Cheers!

This is what my referral sheet is for!
I'm pretty sure the colour coding for the rubber stops is universal.

Can you make a video or RUclips short talking about soaking gp in hypo? Are you soaking them right before a case or are they always soaking?
We soak them a few minutes before use. It’s simple. You can also use alcohol as well.
Are you using a single cone technique?

What did you had?😂
How many cases you use a single Wave one gold ?
One case
I agree. Just one case
Flying out … so there is no seal ! Right?
What is this? An ear cleaning? I really don't know
