Cute collaboration with Barbie. I like the pinks in the collection but would have liked more pink polishes with different finishes…scattered holo, shimmer, flakies. Thanks for swatching 😊💗
THAT woulda been finishes i could get behind! Even a glitter bomb (w/o the pearly base) haha - But I mean, at least the quality was good so I'm not mad :P

It’s always best to apply at least two coats for much better, longer wear.
I’ve heard about the two coats giving more manicure longevity, but I honestly haven’t tested this and I have also thought about it a lot and I don’t see how that’s actually too logical. I think it’s one of those things we r used to, but idk if I truly believe it. I could be wrong, but just speaking out of gut feeling 😂
I love your review although I am not into Barbie or Barbie movie. I saw someone else use the 4 pearl and shimmer finishes over their coordinating cremes as toppers. Tfs!
Yeah I think that would be a good option, to use them in color combos!
Fun collection and great swatches! I love when you talk in detail about the formula and your thoughts, talking with your hands for emphasis while holding the bottle… Going forward, is there any chance you could do those parts with the polish being discussed ON rather than bare-nailed? Even though I know it’s just the one hand. I like to see the polishes in action so to speak.
I can't do that 😂 I literally have to juggle kids, pets, husband, house and a full time job to find any silence in this house to film the voiced parts hahaha. If I had to paint my nails multiple times per video + adding the dry time of (in this case) 9 polishes, I could never find the space for all that silence 😝
I know exactly what you mean and I agree. Shimmer plus glitter looks lumpy, as if I did a crappy application.

I find Welcome to Barbie Land to be the most intriguing, so go figure! Question I've been meaning to ask: why do you keep the nails on your right hand shorter than the ones on the left?
I wish i could keep both as short :) But my swatching hand benefits from a lil bit of length for pics and also to have more real estate to test polishes. I love shorties for day to day. (I type for work, and nails slow me down). It's really just me choosing comfort over beauty hahahaha

I’m not sure, but I haven’t seen them in gel at all. I’m inclined to say “no” but just because I haven’t seen them doesn’t mean they don’t exist 🤣
