Very impressive and stunning work! Enjoyed watching the whole process great technique and beautiful colour palette 🎨! Wish you all great success and best wishes!
Don't know what I enjoyed the most - the paintings, which are stunning, the music which I was rocking out to, or the thunder which I miss so much. When we moved from Texas to Washington I didn't realize that it doesn't thunder here except on very rare occasions. I miss it so much. You kept me entertained and taught me something as usual. I love the artist you are.😘
Thank you so much Elayne! 😀 When you start teaching the 'how to give a compliment' classes - I want to be the first to sign up. You always know the exact right thing to say! Big hugs and love from CR
Tks i must tell you. That you have renewed my love for acrylic pouring. Your techniques are exciting and your piaintings are outstandind. Beautiful. I follow Gina Deluca and YOU Thank you so much for sharing your talent
Thanks so much Bonnie! That second one definitely got better as it dried. A little darker and more contrast. I show the dry results in the next video (black hole pour) - I hope you like it dry too!
Nate you are a bloody genius, I hope you don’t mind, but I actually ordered myself one of those strainers to try this AMAZING technique myself, it should be arriving any day now. You truly are the master & I get more & more inspired the more videos I watch of yours, so thank you 🙏
@@NateBrightArt Hope you're well? We've had a great week. My little one Orion turned 9yrs. Considering he was given a prognosis of 7yrs he's defying the odds! Did an Easter egg hunt for him, it was such a laugh. So I'm one happy Muma Bear 🥰 Just wondering if you're planning to do another video with hubby? It was fun. Have a fantastic week! Looking forward to your next creation!
Wow is right! That is delicious. I hope you didn't lose your electricity on the storm that was coming in. It sounded like a big one. I loved the second one very much. I must try this even though I am below a fledgling at pouring. You don't know until you dive in head first. I'll take the plunge on this and see what happens.
First time I’ve watched yr videos and have subscribed because I love that nautilus design and additionally your description box is great, exceptional work
These are absolutely gorgeous, Nate, and thank you for your detailed tips. I really must dust off the strainer I bought a couple of years ago and give this a try!
Wow, both paintings are just beautiful! I love the color combinations and the effects you got in both. Similar, but very different in some ways too. Both are gorgeous!
I like the first one better also,,,,but,,they are both great!!!!!!! I always like this kind of piece with negative corners. The only sq. canvases I have on hand are 12x12 but I'm going to give this a try this afternoon. Thank for yet another great inspiration. Also, thanks for the great description, especially about raising the piece high for air circulation, GREAT TIP!!......... Subscribed & all
Nate, I love this pour, and your others, too! I finally found this style strainer here in Finland and I can’t wait to try this. Just as soon as I let one painting dry, resin three, sort out my studio… And mix paints in this consistency! Haha if only you could just paint and not worry about the rest 😅
Haha! Yes, that's always the struggle - getting through the tedious bits to get to the fun parts! Thanks again Annukka - good luck and let me know how yours turns out!
These are both great! I like the definition in the first one, but I like the almost sunset feel you achieved with the pink & teal in the second. Really fun to watch you create these 😊
Thanks so much Mama D! I'm a big fan of strong contrast, so I'm always going to lean towards the first one. But I can totally understand why others would prefer the softness of the second. I'm happy with both - thanks again!
Thanks Nate! They are both beautiful but I like the darker colors and the one previously with just 2 colors. Two colors gave it so much depth and created a more 3D effect. I can’t wait to try this. 🥰
Thank you so much Nate. This was a very interesting video as always. I think you are a bit hard on yourself sometimes. All of us that follow your art journey love your work. I really appreciate you sharing your time and art. Always look forward to the next video. Love to you and hubby xx
Thanks again Linny! I do try to find something to learn even if the results aren't what I was hoping for. And sometimes I have to remove my 'expectations' and just appreciate it for what it is. But thanks for always being my cheerleader - it definitely keeps me motivated to keep going when I get such amazing feedback. Love and hugs and happy easter!
WoW, this was done a year ago. Both pieces are really nice, however, I think I agree with you that less colors is better. I have 2 questions for you. Have you tried a nautilus pour with any other sink strainer? Did you say why it is that you put white paint in the center of the canvas and a colored paint around the remaining part of the canvas? You haven’t done any of these recently. I know there seem to be new techniques everyday, but don’t forget the oldies but goodies.
WoW!! Stunning artwork! Saw your channel after watching Rainbow Acrylics by Claire. Amazingly beautiful work! I have only been at this art for 5 months. Questions: Why do you use Floetrol AND glue AND varnish? What kind of varnish? Rather daunting for a newbie, but I have used Floetrol and Glue at times, just not together. Have not tried varnish on anything yet. Will it make it difficult to clean for resin later, such as with silicone?
Hi! Sorry for the late response… varnish is great for protecting the pigments from bleaching or fading in daylight. So I mix it right into my pouring medium. As long as you use a water based varnish, there should be no issue with adding resin on top.
Thanks Joan! No, the base coat is a little thinner. Still leaves a small mound when drizzled off of the stir stick but dissipates quickly. It's job is just to wet the canvas so the poured colors don't roll over themselves and disappear.
Love your work. Introduced by Anna Blount. Seems like your camera does not have very good resolution thought, except when you get in close. Still very inspiring work!
2 awesome pieces my friend. Who doesn't love a good 2fer? lol Thanks for being there for me yesterday. I appreciate your support. 😀😀
Haha! Yes, I seem to be in a 2-fer mood these days. Thanks Brian! And I'm always happy to watch you pour too!
THAT BALLOON DIP 🤯😇 Perfection!!
Thanks Garrick! Such a cool effect - so 3D!
Haahaa This was gorgeous! Wasn't paying attention there was still time... BONUS footage ! Yayyy
LOL thanks Christiana!
Oh Nate, this was amazing to watch you love!!! on both pieces! You are sooo are kind for you. Love you!
Thanks Angie!
Very impressive and stunning work! Enjoyed watching the whole process great technique and beautiful colour palette 🎨! Wish you all great success and best wishes!
Thanks again Anjali
Both are beautiful. First one with strong caracter, the second one soft and delicate💜💜💜
Thanks Janja! That's the perfect description - one strong, one delicate. Nice!
Definitely trying this! I think you’re right - two colors are best, but these are gorgeous! And that balloon kiss is rocking the middle!
All I can say is WOW! Love your choice of music too.
HippyArtByTiffiny here, Thank SO much, Nate! These are absolutely gorgeous ❣️❣️👍👍👍
Thanks Tiffiny!
Oh Nate! They are both gorgeous!! But, I must say, I’m with you that #1 with less colors is my fav!!
✌️💜😊
Totally awesome results, love the vibrant colours of the first pour but also the subtle and delicate colours of the second pour, thanks for sharing
Thanks so much Kerrie!
Wow wow wow!!!!! Unbelievably gorgeous 😍 ❤
Don't know what I enjoyed the most - the paintings, which are stunning, the music which I was rocking out to, or the thunder which I miss so much. I’m studying up on the technique because I finally am going to try it this week! The center you got on that first one was PERFECTION.
Oh YAY! I can't see what you create - I love this technique and yours will be amazing I'm sure!
I Love the second one too! Spirograph!!! That's what this reminds me of! My old Spirograph I had when I was a kid 💜
YES!! I loved my spirograph! Haha - I think we are showing our age...
I love the colors Nate!!! This technique is so much fun.
I love watching it spin on the lazy susan... mesmerizing!
Absolutely stunning! This is the first time I’ve watched your videos and I will be back to watch more. Thank you so much for sharing!
Thanks so much for watching and subscribing Angel!
Tks i must tell you. That you have renewed my love for acrylic pouring. Your techniques are exciting and your piaintings are outstandind. Beautiful. I follow Gina Deluca and YOU

Nate, both are spectacular!! I think I prefer the first one. Thanks!! Cheers, Paige
Thanks Paige! The high contrast is my jam too!
Both are beautiful. Colors are gorgeous. I think I like the definition of the first one the best. Great job. Happy Easter. 🐣💜🐰💜🐥
Thanks Joalla! Happy Easter to you too!
You inspire many. Keep your head up and enjoy the process. These turned out beautiful.💜
Thanks so much!
Love the second one the best for me. First is great but second is my choice. Very cool effects!
Thanks so much Bonnie! That second one definitely got better as it dried. A little darker and more contrast. I show the dry results in the next video (black hole pour) - I hope you like it dry too!

First one was like an ammonite, the second like the underside of a jelly fish. Both stunning!
Love your imagination! I totally see the jellyfish now!

Thanks Kelly - me too!
Less is more they say. I prefer the first one. Both are pretty though. 😊❤🙏🇦🇺🐨
Thanks Gina!
Love these, I have the strainer, but need a split cup! 🙄 I agree, love the two and three colors best, more contrast.
Thanks Kathryn! LOTS of split cups on Etsy, and I know Mixed Media Girl carries them too. I hope you give it a try!
Reminds me of bachelor buttons.
This is so beautiful and fun to watch when you spin it. Got to be my favorite strainer pour. I love blue and violet.
Wow! Thanks so much!
Love these!! 🤩🤩 I may have to try this with a different color palette ( got my cogs a turning😜) but you can bet I will share it with you❤️
Awesome! I can't wait to see it! Thanks again Becky
Both are lovely. Would love to see what would happen if you actively encouraged larger cells.
Thanks Simone! Interesting idea!
I think if you put black in the center, it would make a gorgeous flower.
Thanks Svg! I think that's true - especially on the second one
Hi Nate. I love this video. Can you tell me where to buy the basin you are using to spin the paint in?
WoW, this was done a year ago. Both pieces are really nice, however, I think I agree with you that less colors is better. I have 2 questions for you. Very exciting movement. Love it! Have a question. Is the base coat as thick as the pouring paint
