Go back to 7 and try them after playing 8; the timings are so much tighter it’s not even funny. I couldn’t even hit Xiaoyu’s running 3 after Screw without practicing it for like 15 mins; same with King's big-damage combo with the Jaguar Hook screw. In 8, I can sidestep after Tornado, do the slowest WR input ever, and still hit Xiao’s WR 3 every time. T8 still has some pretty tight combos that require good execution, but it’s nothing like 7...hell, Asuka’s unblockable/combo reset setup doesn’t even work in 8.
I kinda doubt it. His ass seems too prideful to admit he's lost anything, like looking at the title has gotta be physically painful for him. At the same time this could just be him chasing whatever bit of clout he can get, since that's all he seems to have nowadays.
