Silent majority need to not be cowed. When you know something is a lie, to silently go along makes you culpable. The next time a work colleague, teacher, stranger, friend or whoever tries to get you to go along with the agenda, push back. That is how we push back against evil. You don't have to be hostile. Just acknowledge the truth: There are men and women, and you will not knowingly lie to preserve feelings, and that is that. You aren't alone in the fight. Even if it feels like you are.
This is so wrong. I am autistic myself, and can confirm it's actually *very* relevant that it's brought up in this instance, but adds even more defence for this girl. Autistic brains work differently to neurotypical people. That's kind of the definition of what autism is. How it presents varies hugely from individual to individual, but there are two particular traits which may be applicable here for the girl (and which would also apply to me): 1) Neurodiverse people may struggle with anxiety when dealing with uncertainty, and may use dichotomous thinking (polarized thinking pattern) to reduce that anxiety, simplying the world into a simple black-and-white model rather than trying to make sense of any grey in between. Forcing a neurodiverse person to go beyond a simple male/female definition of people may not be possible for the autistic person. 2) Some autistic people may develop social masking as a way to mimic, or overcome perceived deficiencies with neurotypical people. In my case, this presents as having a set of rules which need to be worked through in any given situation, providing a sort of flowchart of checks and thinking process to get to a conclusion/behavior at the end which would mimic how neurotypical people would behave. For the "normal" person, there is a natural response to a situation, which goes straight from situation - > response without any conscious thought needed. For the autistic person, the process may look like this this, with these thoughts specifically being made: Somebody is smiling at me. Why are they smiling at me, and how should I respond? I have learned that when people are smiling at me, it is either because they are being nice, or are laughing at me. When people are laughing at me they are not being kind. Is this person saying mean things about me? -> No Is this person pointing at me? -> No Is this person calling me a word that I have learned is an insult? -> No This person is not laughing at me. If they are not laughing at me, they are being nice. When people are being nice, smile back. Response -> Smile Now this way of social masking may be unique to me, or may be used by many autistic people as a way of "fitting in". The point here, though, is that whereas a a neurotypical person will respond without thought in a social situation, an autistic person may have to be doing a *lot* more conscious thinking in order to mimic the same response, and this makes just acting socially much harder generally. Why is this relevant? Well here are my own personal rules, that I have used for many years when dealing with gender, when meeting a person for the first time: When speaking, should I use the word "he" or "she"? It they are a man, use the word "he". If they are a woman, use the word "she". How do I know if this person is a man or a woman? Can I ask them if they are a man or a woman? No -> I have learned that this is not normal behavior, and another way must be used to work this out. Are they in the list of people called men? (My father, my brother, my friend, a politician I have learned is a man). No, they are not in this list. Are they in the list of people called women? (My father, my aunt, the girl who lives next door). No. they are not on this list. This is a new person, and I need to find out whether they are a man or a woman, so that I can use the right pronoun. Do they have a beard or moustache? If so, they are a man. Do they have a low pitched voice? If so, they are a man. ... etc Eventually I will have enough information to tell me how I should refer to this person. There's a very important question there, though, which shows how my thinking has evolved as I have grown up. "Can I ask if they are a man or a woman?". When I was very young, this was a perfectly acceptable question, and people were not offended when I asked it. It was a very easy way to put someone into one or other bucket. But as I grew up I learned that this was not "normal" behavior, and I had to make the ruleset much more complex again in order to mask my autism in a social setting (understanding which pronoun to use). The more complex the ruleset becomes, the longer it takes, and the harder it is, to mimic the "normal" social behaviour. In addition to this, there is a good amount of research that has been done which suggests that social masking is actually harmful to an autistic person. By forcing an autistic person to accept, and behave, in a particular way towards anyone who insists on using pronouns which are not aligned to their biological sex, you are forcing the autistic person to act in a way that does not seem natural to them. Social masking can lead to anxiety, depression, burnout, loss of self and even physical pain. And all because woke activists want it to be considered abnormal for people to ask "are you a man?". Absolutely disgraceful. If you're going to preach about equality and acceptance of others, then you yourself should be accepting of neurodiverse people who have a recognized disability which cannot easily accommodate your world view without asking a simple question. Which apparently is offensive. Sorry.. rant over.
As someone with autism, I am so disgusted with the bigotry the woke has against the autism community. I’m an ally of LGBTQ community but to ban an autistic person from something she loves like soccer just for an observation that someone looks like an opposite is disgusting. Where’s the inclusion of neurodivergence community in hobbies and activities and it’s very common that such ableism exists in this world. Why instead of our politicians only campaigning against their definition of antisemitism or racism or in that case transphobia, they should have a human rights or royal commission here in Australia against Anti autistic bullying.

It must be devastating to be a trans person, knowing that every single second of the day and night that you aren't what you want to be or think you are. I genuinely feel sad for them............../s
Or just get a grip and stop believing the voices in your head
I agree; but as I understand it this is a case of a MINOR CHILD asking a question, and being punished for it. That's shocking.
@@Randomequestrian-pm4hl 100% mate - shocking doesn't even begin to describe how I feel about it.
By the way the /s I added at the end sort of means something....................
That’s reality for most people
I’m not the person I want to be, but that’s my problem, not everyone else’s
What about us being offended with all these fantasies thrown at us, Then we are supposed to lie. Well i was taught lying is bad.. Now we are being forced by law to accept all these lies , you cannot change your sex, That is it, The sooner we come to terms with this the better.
Shes a child, should an adult be playing on a kids team
Silent majority need to not be cowed. When you know something is a lie, to silently go along makes you culpable. The next time a work colleague, teacher, stranger, friend or whoever tries to get you to go along with the agenda, push back. That is how we push back against evil. You don't have to be hostile. Just acknowledge the truth: There are men and women, and you will not knowingly lie to preserve feelings, and that is that. You aren't alone in the fight. Even if it feels like you are.
This needs to stop!!!!
This has to stop now.
Being discriminated because of Autism.
“The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.”
― George Orwell, 1984
This is so wrong.
I am autistic myself, and can confirm it's actually *very* relevant that it's brought up in this instance, but adds even more defence for this girl.
Autistic brains work differently to neurotypical people. That's kind of the definition of what autism is. How it presents varies hugely from individual to individual, but there are two particular traits which may be applicable here for the girl (and which would also apply to me):
1) Neurodiverse people may struggle with anxiety when dealing with uncertainty, and may use dichotomous thinking (polarized thinking pattern) to reduce that anxiety, simplying the world into a simple black-and-white model rather than trying to make sense of any grey in between.
For the autistic person, the process may look like this this, with these thoughts specifically being made:
Somebody is smiling at me. Why are they smiling at me, and how should I respond?
I have learned that when people are smiling at me, it is either because they are being nice, or are laughing at me.
When people are laughing at me they are not being kind.
Is this person saying mean things about me? -> No
Is this person pointing at me? -> No
Is this person calling me a word that I have learned is an insult? -> No
This person is not laughing at me.
If they are not laughing at me, they are being nice.
When people are being nice, smile back.
Response -> Smile
Now this way of social masking may be unique to me, or may be used by many autistic people as a way of "fitting in". The point here, though, is that whereas a a neurotypical person will respond without thought in a social situation, an autistic person may have to be doing a *lot* more conscious thinking in order to mimic the same response, and this makes just acting socially much harder generally.
Why is this relevant? Well here are my own personal rules, that I have used for many years when dealing with gender, when meeting a person for the first time:
When speaking, should I use the word "he" or "she"?
If so, they are a man.
... etc
Eventually I will have enough information to tell me how I should refer to this person.
Sorry.. rant over.
Thank you for sharing truth!
If you are rational you have an attitude problem? Never fear to question or challenge anything that seems irrational to you.
My neighbour got her husband pregnant last year and they've just given birth to a lovely little bouncing kitten!!!
Proper journalism . Great work .
Straight up honesty
As someone with autism, I am so disgusted with the bigotry the woke has against the autism community. I’m an ally of LGBTQ community but to ban an autistic person from something she loves like soccer just for an observation that someone looks like an opposite is disgusting. Where’s the inclusion of neurodivergence community in hobbies and activities and it’s very common that such ableism exists in this world. Why instead of our politicians only campaigning against their definition of antisemitism or racism or in that case transphobia, they should have a human rights or royal commission here in Australia against Anti autistic bullying.
