    I totally relate to this frustration. There is so much to learn and patience is essential in motion graphics.
    It is insane really. I am going to study at University next year. I hope it can create a positive environment for me to improve as a motion designer!

      I am sure it will create a positive environment for you. Being among people who have the same goals is motivating. And if you look back on projects you did a few months ago and compare them to the stuff you do now, you'll see the progress you made.

    Hi I just saw your video, and here's my story I started motion design but now I'm stuck for the very basic design principles and rules. Can you suggest where to start?

    My aim is to become a motion designer and I'm currently self-learning Illustration thinking that it would be an asset to my motion graphics. I just want to be sure that if learning Illustration is worth or not for one who wants to become a motion designer? Can you please help me clarify this?

    • @ManueldoesMotion

      I think Illustration and Motion Design go very well together. It's a great additional skill.

    U think is possible to have day job and be successful freelancer part time as motion graphics artist?

    • @ManueldoesMotion
      @ManueldoesMotion  3 года назад +1

      I wouldn't recommend that. Being freelance part time is very difficult, especially if you have a 9 to 5 job somewhere in an office or so. You wouldn't be flexible enough to meet with clients during the day or do tight deadlines and stuff like that.

    • @uzairmehmood16
      @uzairmehmood16 3 года назад

      @@ManueldoesMotion I see. how is it that you gain clients and a consistent income as a freelancer? It seems very unstable. at least in my mind...

    • @ManueldoesMotion
      @ManueldoesMotion  3 года назад +1

      @@uzairmehmood16 You need to build a network of people who could be your potential clients. That's why I would recommend to work for a few agencies or studios first to get to know people in the industry.
