I totally relate to this frustration. There is so much to learn and patience is essential in motion graphics. It is insane really. I am going to study at University next year. I hope it can create a positive environment for me to improve as a motion designer!
I am sure it will create a positive environment for you. Being among people who have the same goals is motivating. And if you look back on projects you did a few months ago and compare them to the stuff you do now, you'll see the progress you made.
Hi I just saw your video, and here's my story I started motion design but now I'm stuck for the very basic design principles and rules. Can you suggest where to start?
amazing dude, love your channel. do you think 33 years old is too old to learn motion design? i have some prior expierence but never gave it enough dedication
That's awesome! Glad u like it! No way! Age doesn't matter at all! I think much more important is that you are passionate about it. You should go for it!
My aim is to become a motion designer and I'm currently self-learning Illustration thinking that it would be an asset to my motion graphics. I just want to be sure that if learning Illustration is worth or not for one who wants to become a motion designer? Can you please help me clarify this?
I'm taking motion graphics course which includes photoshop, illustration, premier pro and after effect ....so if i learn them i will become a motion graphics designer?
I wouldn't recommend that. Being freelance part time is very difficult, especially if you have a 9 to 5 job somewhere in an office or so. You wouldn't be flexible enough to meet with clients during the day or do tight deadlines and stuff like that.
@@uzairmehmood16 You need to build a network of people who could be your potential clients. That's why I would recommend to work for a few agencies or studios first to get to know people in the industry.

The best way to get better is to practice as much as possible.

I think Illustration and Motion Design go very well together. It's a great additional skill.
@@ManueldoesMotion Thank you so much for replying, Manuel. Your clarification made my day! ❤️
Thank you. I have only one question. Why is qality of the video not so good?
You're welcome! I uploaded the video in HD quality. So it should be good...
I'm taking motion graphics course which includes photoshop, illustration, premier pro and after effect ....so if i learn them i will become a motion graphics designer?
That covers all the software you need. Then you need to practice as much as possible to get experience and build a portfolio.
@@ManueldoesMotion thanks a bunch

Hey!😊
U think is possible to have day job and be successful freelancer part time as motion graphics artist?
I wouldn't recommend that. Being freelance part time is very difficult, especially if you have a 9 to 5 job somewhere in an office or so. You wouldn't be flexible enough to meet with clients during the day or do tight deadlines and stuff like that.
@@ManueldoesMotion I see. how is it that you gain clients and a consistent income as a freelancer? It seems very unstable. at least in my mind...
