I honestly think necrosleep is really good, especially as it can be read as dead sleep as if the person dies as soon as they start not needing to sleep since corpses don’t require rest

There we go, necrosleep is the creepypasta i always reference when i end a made up one as a joke. At the end i always add "And then the spook happened and also your reading this from a police report because im dead" cliche
For a blog post it could be fine if there was a fake news post put up to explain it, but that doesn't happen. For example "BooTube" was a pretty cool story until the ending where the ending was the narrator was about to be murdered by the entity. Let's rid ourselves of "And then I died" endings, "Overly tall, thin, pale creatures with too wide grins," Satanic imagery, or protagonists insisting that "I'm an atheist that doesn't believe in the supernatural but MY supernatural story is totally for realz gaiz!"

It would be such a better pasta if it didn't have these weird mentions of the Soviet Ukrainian scientist (nobody who is Ukrainian will call themselves Soviet come on+it's Russians who are more known for weird experiments) and also if it didn't end up being a zombie pill. So lame lol. Don't get me wrong I love Resident Evil but man that's just cheap
I really liked the most how it started off really, the protagonist seemed relatively smart enough to not immediatelly go for the obvious evil zombie pills, and actually spent a reasonable amount of time digging up info and actually sharing his findings outside the blog. I will agree though the whole "oh yeah it came from the research of this one random easter european doctor" kinda took me out from it a bit, but even with the ending and mild satanic imagery it still felt more grounded than the Russian Sleep Experiment at least so that's a plus.
Something I find so charming about these stories is how most of them have main characters that are kids going to and from school, because you know these are some kids' personal creative writing projects.
