Hendrix always was out of tune and played sloppy, so give Yngwie a break. Also Jimmy Page played sloppy but not out of tune as much as Hendrix. Eric Clapton is another one as well as so many those dive bar made legend blues players who were who knows. At least Yngwie has precision, superior technique, awesome image, education. I can same they same for EVH ,Randy Rhoads, Joe Satch, Steve Vai, John Pertucci, etc.

The entire Odyssey album is full of great songs for the era. There are plenty of others on other albums. Black Star, Far Beyond the Sun, Trilogy Suite, etc... are unsurpassed instrumental rock masterpieces. Heck, pretty much the entire first album is unsurpassed. He created an entire way of playing. Anyone who has been able to copy it, has copied it.
