One thing to keep in mind at 10:38 polarbearmon wouldnt be able to give sec+1 to gabubond since in the card it states that the digimon needs to be ice-snow trait. So you would only be able to deal 1 damage twice

Sweet Video! I just got shown the digimon tcg last week and got to play a few games with some borrowed decks and I am addicted! Massive nostalgia because I have always loved digimon more than pokemon. I just got the ulformveedramon (i think that's right) beginner deck pack and am excited to collect and play more. I have really been liking blue decks so gonna keep this one in my back pocket! Appreciate the quality content!!
bt11 hyogamon is also a nice option for level 4. It lets you evo for free on top of ex8 penguinmon. Sorcerermon is also pretty cool since you can play it with the Skadimon for extra unsuspend. Lots of cool options for the deck for sure.
Yea he's mad expensive at the moment, it's a bit crazy. I was lucky to get my bits and pieces on release so I think I only spent like $40 aud per Hex alt haha
This has been one of my pet decks prior to release, and since then, it's grown to be one of my favorites. I've been playing a more traditional pure ice-snow build with 4-1 Skadi and Hexeblaumon (only pulled one), and it's like you said better than it should be. One thing I will note in this video is that Gabu Bond Ace can't get the level 5 inherits as they are locked to ice-snow. In brainstorming different tech ideas, I've considered adding in bt17 Parasitemon. It lets you take more advantage of iceclad and cleans up any digimon you couldn't source strip to 0. Plus, if they delete the stack, Parasitemon just comes back out to be reused. In my build, I also run Davis, so it's searchable.
@@bugking1413 I must've misspoke heavily, you ain't the only one to bring up the 2 check BOF so that woulda been my bad. I like the parasite tech I won't lie! Definitely one of those moments I read the comment and squinted thinking it was silly but the more I mull on it the more fun it sounds haha
I’m convinced Paledramon is bait for the deck. It has no On Play to work with Skadi and it doesn’t really fill the niche that Frigi does since you can’t Evo for free to build back up quick off a Scramble’d Penguin. The tamer is also in a tough spot since there’s no way to cheat her out yet and stripping just one isn’t that influential. When we get a better way to proc her effect on opponent’s turn (an ace or a Frigi that plays out of security), I’ll be for it
Nah Pale is crazy for gaining jamming without the crabmon and blocker so you can end unsuspended and catch your opponent off with an iceclad block haha Totally agree with you on the tamer though, she heeeelps with high source Digimon but you trash so much already it's often redundant. Would be cool to see more opps turn effects too, yea
Pyramidi and Dinomon! Still getting the hang of Pyramidimon cause it actually plays in a bit of a weird way but when you go off it feels sick. Dinomon's interesting too, just gotta vibe out a build that sits right with me but Dinomon's definitely a card that might be generic good stuff, cool to see it being used in the Galaxy loop as another lvl 6 haha
