Brilliant video as always. What I love about you and your channel is that your video production is as good as the big channels, you aren't pretentious and don't profess to be the spokesperson of everyone (which the big channels do). Your outcomes are not predictable and if something is shite you call it out. I thought this video was really good. For me, Android OEMs don't lack Apple in terms of quality or innovation (often the opposite) but rather the marketing. Apple is a true lifestyle brand and owning a device evokes a feeling of belonging to something. That's where Google, Samsung and the like need to make gains. Love to see a video about the benefits of a blended ecosystem! Keep up the amazing work my friend.
Regarding the ecosystem, I think tech reviewers put way more importance into it than regular people, because it suits their use cases more. And because they all use Macs, it's obviously that the things they do would lend themselves better to sticking within the same ecosystem. But most people aren't transferring video files to their laptop to edit videos. That's not a common thing to do. I use a Galaxy S21 Ultra, a Galaxy Tab S7+, and a Macbook Pro 14. There aren't situations where I think "man I wish I had an iPhone." I like to view and edit my phone's photos on my laptop, but it's just as simple as going to the Google Photos website and downloading the photos I need. Don't get me wrong. Ecosystems are nice. I like that I can seamlessly switch my Galaxy Buds Live between my phone and tablet without having to unpair and pair and all that stuff. It just works. I like that I can move high-res videos between my phone and my big tablet screen so I can view the videos on the bigger screen. I'm just saying that this integration is 1.) Not hugely important to most people, and 2.) Not done exclusively well by Apple.
Yes, I agree that there is a lot of focus on content creation use cases. A lot of people don’t care about those. I have to say I do find Samsung tablets very productive, and very easy to switch between tablet and desktop like experience
Same thing for me, I have a Macbook, mac mini and iPad pro, but I don't think it's worth to get an iPhone yet, I have an S20 FE and still rocks with the cameras and performance for about 500 USD. I think iPhones are overrated, to me does not makes sense to purchase an expensive iPhone when I can get a very cool android phone with great features for almost half the price of an iPhone
Hey, I have a Macbook Air, thinking about getting a Nothing Phone 1 as I love what I've seen of it. Do you really not miss things like Airdrop to your laptop, or using the Messages app on your laptop to text?
@@swarming1092 it just depends on your use case. I use Facebook Messenger rather than iMessage, so that is synced between my Android phone and tablet and my MBP. If, however, you use iMessage, the transition would be a lot harder for you. Regarding Airdrop, I'm not going to pretend it's not nice. It's just, I don't really use that type of thing. My photos and videos get uploaded to Google Photos and I can view them right away on my MBP. If, however, you edit videos on your MBP and shoot the videos with your phone, it won't be as easy or seamless as with iPhone. Again, just depends on how deeply you reply already on Apple ecosystem.
@@michaelfenix1159 i only have iPad 6 2018 just buy it to see if iPad worth it for drawing (and of course it does, procreate and apple pen is just amazing) gonna save up to buy iPad air m2 used for long term used because i hear m1 and me is overkill in iPad, that make me happy because that Mean i don't need to upgrade for good while :), gonna buy iPhone if my poco gw not usable anymore
thank you so much, I do enjoy some of the large channels but sometimes it feels very biased towards one brand or another. I am so grateful though, comments like this is what keeps me inspired to create more! Have a lovely day!
Apple won't allow anyone else into their walled garden. Using my Samsung Tab S8+ and S21Ultra allows for seamless sharing of photos between them, I don't even have to push a button to get pics transferred between them. The ecosystems are meant to tie you to a brand and Apple is more experienced at keeping folks corralled
I own an M1 Macbook pro, iPhone 14 pro, Apple watch series 7, S21FE, Samsung Tab S8 and a galaxy watch. To be honest I just enjoy using my samsung devices more. Apple ecosystem is overated in my opinion and my samsung devices do all of thesame stuff and more. For fluidity I'll give Apple a little edge but Samsung is right up there in the ecosystem game as well. My Samsung TV, washing machine, fridge, phone, tablet and watch sync and work amazingly together.
Yes, I share some of that frustration with the Apple ecosystem. I do love Airdrop though and it’s probably the one feature I couldn’t leave without as I use a MacBook.
Honestly I could care less what devices other people use. Ive got an iPhone 13, an m1 iPad Air, AirPods Pro 2 and an Apple Watch ultra and I couldn’t be happier with the devices and how they work together. Sure they’re very expensive but I’m happy to pay the premium. If you feel the same way about android devices then more power to you! We are all into technology so maybe we should get along more. Just my two pence
Another amazing video love your channel. I have a iPhone 14pm, SS series 7 45mm, s22 ultra, watch 5 pro, tab s8 ultra and galaxy buds 2 pro. Sold my iPad Pro. Love the tab s8 ultra esp with the free keyboard cover I received during launch and Dex is a blast plus the stunning Oled display. I think both eco systems are great and I use google photos and drive for when I switch devices. I like both systems but still like my s22 ultra more because of simple things like real easy customization, universal back gesture especially for right handed users, t9 calling , non arbitrary app placement like on the iPhone. Both are great and can’t go wrong with either. I always have two devices so I benefit from both. But if I could only choose one for me it would be the s22 ultra.
Thank you so much Kai!! I honestly haven't used my iPad Pro a lot since getting the Tab S8 Ultra. I still use an iPad Air sometimes in the evenings but the Tab S8 Ultra lives on my desk daily. Samsung are doing some great devices right now, will you consider the S23 Ultra or skip it? It feels like a very similar design to the S22U anyway... And I agree with you, totally possible to use both ecosystems these days. Have a great day!
I never don't have a good cable with me, I find air drop to be annoyingly slow compared to plugged in. Also, trying to get files from iPad to a Mac is a nightmare, it's actually easier to get files from my Samsung phone to my Mac. If that doesn't say the apple ecosystem is broken, I don't know what does.
I thought this was a great video with very high quality production. I was always conscious of bias in other videos, especially the top ones you mentioned, so it’s nice to watch something unbiased and fair. As your channel inevitably grows please don’t change when those sponsors and big brands come knocking, I know the money they’ll offer will be tempting but this unbiased approach is amazing and is why I have just become a new subscriber. Thank you.
Hi Alex, please please keep the true quality of your channel instead of siding with any so-called “brands”. What you've covered here is human nature, and we see examples everywhere from the national level down to family members in every household. Brexit for an example, right? Mixing ecosystems? That placed a smile on my face. Having said that I am hoping you can cover one episode on "iOS + PC". What do you think? The biggest user group out there for sure is this group. The majority of business users are also in this group. Sounds good? As always, truly appreciate your true reviews with genuine quality instead of marketing materials from those RUclipsrs superstars. I am looking forward to seeing your great success. AW
Thank you so much for this comment, it really means a lot. This whole debate is so silly and how it is impacting kids is super wrong. There are so many more important things in life for us to be worrying about right?! And yes, that is a fantastic idea, thank you! I will add this to one my next videos for sure!
@@AlexGTech 2nd thought, Alex. Just saw the "Drop" feature in Microsoft Edge Canary. More importantly, maybe the topic "Android + PC" is a better option. No longer care what Apple thinks.
For the most part eco systems are just another part of the walled garden approach. Imessage, Drop, facetime... there are open alternatives out there, which I always encourage people to use instead where possible.
good point! Even switching the Pencil between iPads (I tried it on M1 Pro and M2 Pro) didnt feel smooth. It needed a couple of tries each time to connect.
Dude this was excellent! I just made the decision to preorder S23 Ultra and replace iPhone as my daily driver. And like someone else said- iPhone isn’t bad at all… it’s just I’ve been Apple exclusive for years now and I just feel bored/stuck. Samsung is leading the innovation aspect imo. But I LOVE my iPad Air/Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil setup. I think switching it up and not having any loyalty to either side is healthy. You get the best of both worlds, use what you like, and not be in the dark on cool new things. I also kinda like the idea of not locking myself into an ecosystem. It’s freeing in a way. Lastly- truly love your take on things. The ecosystem myth is a great perspective. I also subscribed- keep it up boss!
There is a setting to change how airpods automatically connect to devices. Change it from “automatic” to “when last connected to this iphone”. I’m at work so idk what the setting says on a macbook or ipdad.
Absolutely right about AirPods switching between devices. It sucks quite often and pisses me off. It woke up my baby daughter a couple of times. Also Siri sucks big time. And most of the other points made against the Apple ecosystem are also valid. I am in the ecosystem and won't change anytime soon probably but it's good that there is someone pointing out that it's not a fairy wonderland park. Subscribe earned.
Hi Keith!! Well spotted 😎 Yeah, I love it... you too? F1 runs through my veins, I am from Brazil originally and grew up watching the epic 80s races so I am big fan of the sport even though we have no Brazilians on the grid right now. I think I can count on one hand how many GPs I missed 🤣
@@AlexGTech oh man,I'm was and am still a huge Senna fan, grew up watching him at McLaren, they're still the team I support!Cool man, love your channel👍
Have being Android user since 2014. At that time, I wasn't realize if devices that I use was Android Devices There are so many Flexibilities that I didn't realize, but seems Magnificent. Was thinking to try Apple next time (not mean I will switch over from Android)
Unlike most Android OEMs (like Google, for example), Apple can't handle being critized by tech creators. As pointed out by TiTT, they ban creators from receiving review units if they're critical of Apple while handing them to those who blindly praise them.
I prefer Android but use the iPhone because of iMessage. In the US at least, people refuse to use third-party messaging apps like Signal or Whatsapp. So this leads to degraded video sharing and all of the other negatives of SMS. So I carry S22 Ultra for work to take advantage of that awesome camera and the iPhone for personal communications.
Thanks Michael, I thought that was the case (iMessage preference in the US) but it's good to hear directly from someone over there. It may be just a question of time...
Today is easy to share everything and to have synchronized all android devices and also to connect Windows with android devices. I don't have any problems using my PC with Samsung phone. It's only about setting up what user needs. In Apple ecosystem it's only up on Apple what user need or is forced to use :) So I think both sides have some + and -.
Dear Alex I just wanted to reach out and let you know that you have gained a new subscriber - me! I have been thoroughly enjoying your content and can't wait to see what new videos you have in store. I was wondering if you could possibly do a review on how well the Apple iPhone's airdrop feature works with laptops that are not MacBooks. Specifically, I am curious about whether you think it is better to have an iPhone paired with a Windows laptop or an Android phone paired with a MacBook. I know that obviously iPhones work better with MacBooks, and Samsung phones work better with Samsung laptops. However, I am actually more interested in which phone is more diverse in terms of pairing with another brand laptop. I think it would be great to show that Android phones actually work great when paired with the same brand laptop. For example, Huawei also has airdrop features, Samsung as well, and Xiaomi even allows you to literally see your phone screen on the laptop. I'd love to see your thoughts on these features. Thank you for all the great content you create, and I look forward to seeing more! Best regards
True, agree on conclusions and opinion! Android and iOS was taking from each other during the last years so many funcionalities and stealing with pride from each other, that with all their differences the systems are in the same quite similar as well. Forgot to mention that it is so easy to download files from Android to computer, where it is nightmare to download from iPhone to computer, especially to Windows.
Hi Alex, need some suggestions from you, maybe you can help. I'm looking for a tablet, i have windows pc and android phone My option: 1. Samsung tab s8/9 (not far off) 2. Ipad pro 128/8 (m1 or m2) 3. Ipad air m1 256gb My concerns: My first choice is ipad pro, storage 128gb actually a great option but it's cheaper with ipad air As my first tablet, is it better to invest a little bit more money to M2? But samsung tablet not bad, and it compatible with windows and looks flexible, but Is it last long? Not sure.. With ipad it's guarantee good at least longer than samsung, but the price around 1,5x-2x more than samsung tablet The price for Samsung tablet is great, sometimes they also give keyboard for free, Or should I just choose ipad, even though it's more expensive? Which ipad? Ipad air have many limitations from the software, like transfer speed, etc. Many people must have the same concern like me 😆 I'm confused 😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫
6:02 i use Samsung's link sharing (quick share) and text or email them to others. And they are usually not using Samsung. The file has to be uploaded to Samsung cloud first though then they have to download it from there. The good thing is it lets me share remotely to multiple people at once - like Google drive except that they don't have to log in to anything. I'm the only one who uses a Samsung phone at work. Most of them use Chinese phones and the others use iPhones.
Precisely what I do when I use Samsung phones, just use link sharing. I cannot believe the amount of people with a samsung who say they cannot send high quality photos and videos through text
I own an M1 iPad Pro and find the limitations in the software a real problem, you can do much more on Android but the hardware is not as good. I also agree that Apple try to spin the idea that USB-C connectors would lead to more e-waste is the worst argument ever. One standard of multiple is a better way for everyone.
Absolutely... the iPad is a great example of amazing hardware on really sub-par software. It was cool nearly 10 years ago, iPadOS now needs to evolve...
Ecosystems are pretty overrated from the apple standpoint. Like if you dont mind taking like an extra 5 seconds to resume a playlist on your laptop or share a file in the cloud. You can literally build a great Ecosystem for the price of an iphone
I don’t think Siri is that bad but the google assistant is light years ahead. Also doesn’t matter how good or bad bixby is because you can use the google assistant on Samsung phones.
Absolutely. The GA on Pixels, especially around speech to text is mind blowing… I actually use it to script most of my videos, it understands my dodgy Brazilian accent no problem!
This is what I think and got from this video: (Nearly) everything Apple has, Android has as well. But everything Android has apple doesn't. Both are great tbh.
I have whatsapp and everyone that I know has whatsapp. So I can basically chose whatever device I want. Good video. I feel like these other tech tubers are getting paid by apple how much they try to sell it lol. They don't really talk about the negative things in my opinion. The greediness of apple is being applauded. I can not use my galaxy buds 2 on my iPhone 14 pro but I can use them on my MacBook Air. I don't know the logic of it but its probably money. It annoys me. I love samsung products as well and they have better deals, so I don't want to go fully on apple products.
That’s the best way of avoiding the whole blue vs green bubble right?! Yes, I do love those big channels and respect their work, it is not easy to become that big. But you’re right, sometimes I do wonder if sponsorships are clouding their judgement. thanks for leaving a comment, really appreciate it 🙏🏼
Wasn't my intention, merely me reacting to something that really triggered me (that Apple-biased video I referred to). Those creators are way beyond what I could ever achieve but their views in that video were pretty irresponsible, in my opinion. And that's just that, I am a guy on the internet with an opinion, it doesn't mean I am right 😊
I like that one too, but I don’t use it very often. How is your Z Fold 3 holding up, is the screen okay? My Fold is fairly new but I wondered how it holds up after a year
@@AlexGTech My fold 3 is super fast running new Andoid 13 Beta for 2 months. Had for a year and half still like new use for work and play everyday. Only thing that I've had to replace is the inter screen protector every 6 months whitestone ones for 17.00. I been to the beach a few times and swimming no problem. I use my S pen all thre time the most productive phone ever. No need to carry my Tablet or labtop no more. 512gb more than enough. I also have a few cases for mine keeps it like new.
Sorry I've tried some android devices in the past but I just hate them and I have to return them, it just doesn't work for me, my last step into apple (after many years of resisting it) is my m1 MacBook air and is the best laptop I've ever used or owned, and it surprises me how amazing the os really is
I like Android, but my issue with Android phones is that you gotta get a flagship to get a good experience and even then it's not going to last for more than 3 years. I've also found that Android phones need to be restarted regularly or bugs start to creep in while using applications. Speaking of which, applications in iOS are generally more polished and more stable. Cross platform apps usually get new features first, and whenever a developer has to settle on a single OS, more often than not, it's going to be iOS. I'm still using an iPhone 7 Plus and it was only until last year that it started having hiccups. Those were fixed by swapping the battery. Then this year it's begun having software issues, but hey it's 6 years old and it JUST had its last software update.
You can last more than 3 years with a Samsung S or Z device. Plus, Samsung gives 4 years of OS updates and 5 years of security updates. 5 years with a phone is totally good. Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Notion, Spotify, Uber, F1 Tv, Linkedin, Google Apps, Philipps Hue, Instagram, WhatsApp, Linkedin, Audible, Runkeeper and many more apps work so fine on both Android and iOS. I daily use both OS and it works. Android brands are improving long term support and Samsung is leading the way. S22 Ultra, Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4 are amazing with Android Back Gesture, Multitasking with Split Screen, Cloned App. Iphone 13 Pro is amazing too.
Apple created a problem that didn't exist with airdrop. There are a million different ways to manage files on android. For example I use a file manager on my mothers phone that has a built in ftp server. Just use filezilla and and pull her pictures off that way. If you use anything other than a mac or ipad you're pretty much screwed. Also find my sucks in comparision to googles alternative. I can just enter find my phone into any signed in chrome device which I always have on hand. I just bought an apple watch primarily for finding my phone.
What a great content.Undoubtedly, Apple devices are receiving so much credit whether they are worth it or not but android devices such as samsung devices waayy better than apple gadgets in terms of innovation( fold, flip phone ,curved displey etc) and customization
The ecosystem (particularly Apple's) is over rated in my opinion. In the US most people have iPhones so you get a lot of crap if you are the green bubble, I currently have the Pixel 6 Pro. I just can't see myself using an iPhone. It seems way to limited in terms of features, for one thing the Google Assistant ecosystem is just better and the AI features Google offers on the Pixel are really handy in day to day use. But at the same time Apple does some really good hardware engineering these days which is why my main machine for work and play is a 16" M1 Max Macbook Pro. I have tried numerous times to get behind an iPad but I don't like the multi-tasking experience and while Safari and Chrome have gotten really good in terms of matching desktop capability on the iPad, the Samsung Fold 4 does a laughably better job at multitasking then any iPad. Being able to use an iPad as a secondary display is probably the best feature about the iPad to me. But that one reason alone to carry an iPad isn't enough. I've had a chromebook tablet I picked up used that I have primarily for media consumption and browsing the internet because it is full on Chrome and does better file management then an iPad. There are some continuity like features between a Pixel phone and chromebook but I don't really use those much, it's nice to know they're there. If you want good multi-device audio management for phone calls and media consumption, get a pair of BT 5+ headphones with multi device connectivity. My Bose NC 700s do this really well. If I am watching something on my Macbook and get a phone call it auto pauses the video or audio on my Mac and I can answer the phone call or dismiss it. It will even auto resume playback on the Mac when I'm done. What more can you ask for?
Nice video Alex I’ve been apple since they came out I tried Samsung years ago but I just couldn’t manage it I hated it so I went back with apple , like you said once get into that ecosystem it’s hard to move I’ve a lot of Apple products my I pad , I phone ,air pods , and the mini home pods I just can’t change now , but I love the look of the fold on the Samsung range . Thanks again great content as always 👏😎🇮🇪
Thanks Mary! Yes, it’s definitely tricky to switch completely, I tried it myself but it’s virtually impossible when you rely on certain features. Thanks for the visit Mary, have a lovely Sunday 🙏🏼😎
4:17 Absolutely the 🌶️ Gang. Living in a third world country doesn't bother me of iMessage. So I don't relate to green buble blue buble fiasco there. And also damn telegram so good.
Change the title of the video to “How to work around Apple ecosystem as an Android user”. You’ve focused a lot on Apple’s unique features rather than pros and cons.
I'm gonna save folks some time here. I'll preface by saying I have both apple and Samsung devices so don't care as far as bias goes. That out the way, just about anything you can do ecosystem on an apple device you can on android already, but added bonus you can do even more. If anything, android tends to get added feature first and apple tends to copy nowadays. Apple intentionally will handicap anything not apple so keep that in mind. Android offers more freedom as you don't always have to have the same brand to enjoy features unlike apple ao keep that in mind. Use what you like at the end of the day, but the argument about apple having some unique ecosystem that no other devices have anything like is over really for the vast amount of cases.
I think you need to be really dumb to pay a bunch of money for a messaging app when you can just use Google Messages on literally any phone at any value.
My take on Apple is that they make amongst the highest quality products. Software and hardware. But I won't buy a single item from them because of their practices. It's not that they're more evil than the other companies either. Its not a moral position. Its a, I don't negotiate with terrorists position. I dont want to support the way they go about their ecosystem and practices.
For most people, if you've got the money and love tech, apple all the way. MacBook is hands down the best laptop experience. Materials are excellent, no virus, no windows crash nightmares, trackpad is stellar... iPhone is the original smart phone, it up there with the best. Its much more aesthetic than its commpetitors, everyone copies of what happens on the iPhones. Its the most simplified experience. iPads have no competition. Android tablets cannot even compared to apple, as the dont have native apps prepared for a bigger screen, they are just buffed up versions of android apps. iPad have profesional apps. Apple Watch has no competition either, its battery life sucks but it has the biggest array of utilities and possibilities, which are not really that much anyways. But still, its the superior smart watch by far.
I've had a s3 and than migrated to Iphone 4. But it was just annoying, pelted me with unwanted messages like if I want to join a wifi. Had a fallu small screen so I went to Nokia 808, but the thing was oudated. So went to One Plus One. Great Os, but bad photos. So went to Pixel 1 and Pixel 2, and then the beauty of the S8 got me hooked on samsung. Still the multi task was easier on the pixel. Have an S10 now. Great form factor. Great micro sd slot. Just wish samsung had a better cloud system like IOS. Would be great. So easy when you buy a new mac to get it set... So, will be keeping the Macbook for now and looking for a note 20 soon to get extra storage
Yes, Pixel is amazing, so underrated. And I agree, Samsung are doing really cool things. I havent tried the PIxel 7 yet, but really looking forward to it. MacBooks are too good, I just wish they had touchscreen, maybe the Air, not so much on the Pro.
@@AlexGTech i pondered between the Note 20 and the S21 ultra with loads of storage. Chose the latter, wil be delivered soon. Had the S10 for the last 4 years, it's just losing battery too quickly now.
Apple designed its products to work with one another. And they have setup iphones to have a disconnect with android. Thats just facts. From a marketing point of view its great. Making android work harder with macs products make sense. It keeps you from wanting to move over.
Preferences aside the stock messaging app (SMS/iMessage) is what is primarily used in North America. Just like WhatsApp is primarily used in other countries. Telling someone to just “switch” is telling someone to change culture. It’s just what we use here. There was no need to download a 3rd party app when talk/text is free of charge. iMessage isn’t “better”. It’s just automatic here since we typically default to the stock messaging app whether its iOS or Android. Remember when everyone said drop WhatsApp and switch to Telegram because of FB’s policies? Yeah no one switched over in masses. So the same should be understood when it comes to stock messaging apps in North America. Hope this helps the confusion when it comes to iMessage.
Thanks Dany! I thought I was going mad 😂 Yeah, it develops a mind of its own when you have multiple devices in the same room, but the logic fails. To me, the audio should always be the device you're actively working on, so if I am just watching a video or listening to a podcast on the iPad/iPhone but editing a video on the Macbook, the audio should always be the Macbook, unless I start using the phone for a call and stop working on the laptop. So weird...
Apple all the way. The product just simply works never ever had a problem. When I had Samsung in Google without fail, I always had problems with her ecosystems and I have a company to run so I need a product that’s going to work 99% of the time nothing’s perfect.
what's ironic about this video is that he's wearing an Apple Watch and is using the apple emojis which points me towards thinking this was edited on a Mac even though he said that the last review videos were biased coz they use Mac to edit and he was saying the ecosystem isn't that good.
Yeah android is good. But I never prefer using any apple device with non apple devices. If I'm using an Android I'm gonna use a windows machine and won't take the head ache of Apple's monopoly of not working with third party products
Love Apple products but I hate reviewers trying so hard to keep Apple happy, I mean I understand they're making money but there's A LOT of biased videos talking about personal preference (or sponsorship) and not actual functionality
You said it 👍 iMessage & Face time are just American thing .. rest of the world don't care Also one should not make decisions based on giant tech RUclipsrs reviews .. they are totally non relatable to general users
I just realized that Apple is the perfect example of Stockholm syndrome. They lock you in their system/ecosystem and you still love them regardless. 😅😂
Security wise yes Apple is far more secure than android. My girls phone is constantly getting viruses and everything on it. She’s got an S 21 you can’t call yourself a secure operating system when you allow people to download unknown sources from websites that aren’t included in the store which viruses, malware and lots of other problems come from downloading from non-secure sources that were Apple wins because they force you to get all software from their store, or it is inspected by them make sure there’s no viruses are malware or tracking, software, or anything else with in the software before you download it but don’t get me wrong. Android got its ups and downs to mainly down with there’s security but you can’t get certain programs for android that you can’t get on Apple but I don’t really need to go buy an android phone just to have that option when my laptop does the same thing using apps such a stremio
I think I agree on security, there are way more ways of apps being "dodgy" on android though I personally never experienced it. I have noticed though that Apple recently is allowing way too many bugs, especially on iOS 16 and iPadOS. So I do worry about security bugs that we haven't caught yet. There is very little in between them these days when comparing mainstream apps, but some of the apps are developed first on iOS/iPadOs and even things like Twitter works better on Apple, so I get that...
🍑, Apple devices are sturdy and well built and last. Ecosystem too makes everything easy. I’m turning 55 and I just want less complications and Apple devices just work. Android has too many incompatabilities between devices.

Awesome video. Genuine experience watching your content. Quality is superb. The larger channels have nothing on you. Keep up the great work!
thank you so much, I do enjoy some of the large channels but sometimes it feels very biased towards one brand or another.
Very true… I do understand some of it but these days it would be great if brands stopped trying to just lock people in
Best caption in the tech world ,definitely earned my sub 👏🏾
Oh wow, thank you!! That really means a lot man. Welcome to the channel, hope you enjoy it as much as I do creating this stuff 👊🏼
I went from iphone 12 to Pixel 7 and I couldn't be happier
Just don’t leave your Galaxy phone in a drawer, might explode ( S21 ultra user)

Honestly I could care less what devices other people use. Ive got an iPhone 13, an m1 iPad Air, AirPods Pro 2 and an Apple Watch ultra and I couldn’t be happier with the devices and how they work together.
Clever way of putting mkbhd in your title. Was about to rage out but the delivery was decent
Update: airdrop is actually faster than transferring files from my Samsung note 10+ phone with the cable that I always have with me (It's a good one)

Amazing video. There are a LOT of things to talk about in this kinds of video. A part 2 perhaps?
Thank you so much! Yes, I will absolutely work on a Part 2. Glad you enjoyed it 🙏🏼
@@AlexGTech Don't forget that you can't navigate system with the Apple pencil! And there's no programming compiler on Apple.
good point! Even switching the Pencil between iPads (I tried it on M1 Pro and M2 Pro) didnt feel smooth. It needed a couple of tries each time to connect.
@@AlexGTech I hope they listen to us. I just want a good OS

Yes, FaceTime is great when it works but I am always struggling with it
The Apple vs Android debate continues…
It certainly does!

It’s certainly come a long way too, the old perception that Android wasn’t friendly is definitely changing…
Z fold 4 it is very expensive ? but the $900 dollar apple watch is not expensive? ok

Dear Alex
I just wanted to reach out and let you know that you have gained a new subscriber - me!
This guy's video are so relaxing
😊 That's lovely to hear! Thank you
Hi Alex, need some suggestions from you, maybe you can help.
I'm looking for a tablet, i have windows pc and android phone
My option:
1. Samsung tab s8/9 (not far off)
2. Ipad pro 128/8 (m1 or m2)
3. Ipad air m1 256gb
My concerns:
My first choice is ipad pro, storage 128gb actually a great option but it's cheaper with ipad air
As my first tablet, is it better to invest a little bit more money to M2?
But samsung tablet not bad, and it compatible with windows and looks flexible,
but Is it last long? Not sure..
With ipad it's guarantee good at least longer than samsung, but the price around 1,5x-2x more than samsung tablet
The price for Samsung tablet is great, sometimes they also give keyboard for free,
Or should I just choose ipad, even though it's more expensive?
Which ipad? Ipad air have many limitations from the software, like transfer speed, etc.
Many people must have the same concern like me 😆
I'm confused 😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫
Keep this up I love your commitment and way you put facts in place

Thanks so much! Really appreciate that 🙏🏼
Great video, interesting and loved the production :)
I also think that most of these big RUclipsrs have a biasness problem.

The problem with videos like this is that they are so entrenched in proving someone wrong…
Wasn't my intention, merely me reacting to something that really triggered me (that Apple-biased video I referred to). This is one of those videos that should be proposed to every single one tech enthusiast out there! Great work, Alex!
Wow, thanks so much! Hopefully the algo will pick it up 😊
I like Android, but my issue with Android phones is that you gotta get a flagship to get a good experience and even then it's not going to last for more than 3 years.
Both have their strong points and weaknesses. I use both as my daily driver.
We need some truth-bears like you, or most souls are sold! Thank You!!
thank you so much! I am glad this resonated 🙏🏼 Have a fantastic 2023!!
Also u have a MacBook if u have a galaxybook u can send files between the two easily

The galaxy ecosystem is great I got a tab the buds and watch 5 pro and they work great although very pricey its worth it Samsung needs a ultra watch
GREAT GREAT video 👏
Thank you! 👍
I think you need to be really dumb to pay a bunch of money for a messaging app when you can just use Google Messages on literally any phone at any value.
agreed!
You had me at “not featuring MKHBD” 😭😂🫶🏼
haha thank you!! 😎

The airpods thing is real. I have two iPhones and switching between the two gets weird.
Kudos to you my friend, you’re an honest fellow, telling the truth as it is. God bless.
Thank you so much, I appreciate you saying that 🙏🏼
Yeah android is good. But I never prefer using any apple device with non apple devices. If I'm using an Android I'm gonna use a windows machine and won't take the head ache of Apple's monopoly of not working with third party products
Brilliant Job with this video 😉👍
Love Apple products but I hate reviewers trying so hard to keep Apple happy, I mean I understand they're making money but there's A LOT of biased videos talking about personal preference (or sponsorship) and not actual functionality
Nice video alex!
Thank you so much! Have a lovely day!
imessage only exist in USA.. whatsapp it's fine for the rest of us...
Yup! It’s a thing in the UK too, I hear school kids taking the mickey out of each other for. It having the “right one”. So dumb…
You said it 👍
iMessage & Face time are just American thing .. rest of the world don't care
Also one should not make decisions based on giant tech RUclipsrs reviews .. they are totally non relatable to general users
