    8) is there any scope for coding for commerce students

    • @amankrx
      @amankrx 3 года назад +5

      1. Doesn't matter. Start with C or python.
      2. Don't use any app
      3. Depends on your pace.
      4. One good thing with Computer Science is that you can learn most of it's content for free. Don't fall into the marketing trap and go on buying courses you'll never complete. Best way (atleast for me) will be to get a roadmap, select a topic, and learn those topic from their docs or videos (whatever you prefer).
      5. Hackerrank, Codechef, Codeforces, leetcode, etc. prepare you well for Algorithmic problems. Idk what coding exam you're specifically talking about.
      6. Gfg, tutorials point, docs, videos, etc.
      7. ONE 😁. Start with one and focus on that one itself. You'll be learning more eventually, but starting with lots of language won't be helpful to you. Just consider yourself a baby, they start learning their mother tongue, and when they are comfortable with their language, some do learn other languages as well which will be helpful.
      8. Get into it. At the end of the day, your skills will matter the most for any Computer Science role.

So it's realistic and I can actually plan in the best way possible. Thank you tons ❤️ for letting me know things which I didn't knew about before finding your page. Best wishes ❤️

Great I found your channel !!
I believe you share honest opinions brother...you correctly mentioned how much practice is required for complete command on DSA/Algo
Could you also share how to approach a top company like amazon/google for internships/placement if we are not from top tier college where companies do not come to our college..
    It would be great!
And thanks for all the Awesome stuff !!

Bro I have a doubt, I have started working on leetcode. I started with strings easy. Initially, the questions looked quite easy and I used to hit great numbers. However, ones I moved to medium, things changed. The questions got really tough and I have to regularly follow youtubers like neetcode etc to understand and solve problem. Most of them involve dynamic programming or backtracking. I am thinking to start working on these topics from easy level at leetcode and then come back to medium and hand ones. What are your suggestions. Even I want to join amazon

Bro, if you are interested in learning coding, start your journey with FreeCodeCamp website, I just recently started learning from that site and its completely free. They have provided a sequential roadmap, where you can start with Web Development first and then Coding.

CGPA is not very important, just join a small company or a startup after graduation and get experience, and then one can apply in big mnc by using experience. After experience no any company ask for the CGPA. Just improve your coding skills.

It's possible if you have good enough skills. SDE1 role is more feasible.
