Manny is by far the best reviewer. He's a pro-level guy but never makes you feel like you can't achieve amazing shots like he does as an amateur shooter.
Yeah, its why I like watching his videos. He has that really strong sense of sending a message to anyone who comes to watch his vids that says "if I can do it, you can do it!" and I love that.
Not a Sony shooter, but still came for Manny's fire photos, tips and inspiration. Great work as always, dude. Killing those natural light portraits in this vid!
one of the few people who had a VIEW an creativity on Nice looks!!! I cannot stand the instaBS and I do never shoot portraits, but ortiz is an exception and nice to watch. the exception.
This is probably my favorite video you've ever done. I really appreciate seeing your thought process in the city as you frame your shots and look for you next location. I've watched all of your videos at least once, and I have a feeling this will be one I come back to again and again. Also, that 35mm looked awesome.
65mm F2 is the real gem out of the bunch including the 45mm f2.8 last year. Sigma is aiming high at Voigtlander APO Macro 65mm F2, record high 50mtf reading at lenstip at F4.
That very first shot made me super stoked to get that 35mm f2. I was literally wondering about getting shots of that nature with that lens. Freakin champ did it in the first minute. Thanks my dude. CANT wait to shoot Boudoir with this banger.
First of all...you work with one of my dream cams and the outcome is excellent!!!! I am in awe with these lenses. WOW!!! You hit the bulls-eye again, Manny!
I see you stepped up your 4k 60fps game Manny! Looks great on my 10bit monitor. I will definitely be getting the 65mm F2 for the Sigma fp L-mount. This is a good video that really shows me how it renders...Thanks man.
The results look amazing. I was surprised how clear and sharp the shot in the subway entrance turned out given how low the light looked. Do they make the same lenses for Canon?
I know this is about showcasing the 2 lenses... but I think the commentary on composition is what makes this video a winner. Helping learning photographers to "understand" composition by using what's available to them in their environment. Thanks Manny
Bro love the out the box thinking. The picture with the crack was brilliant. Keep killing it. I started getting into photography cuz of your videos. Thank you. I'm not as good as you but I'm trying to get there. Keep up the good work.
Oooooh man, for compact lenses, these are pretty amazing. Also, diggin' how you're showing us how you compose the shot to your style too man! I really hope photogs not just only watch for the lens review but also LEARN how to compose a portrait shot with your surroundings. Excellent video Manny!
Love your tutorial on two different lenses which describes benefits of both lenses , your insights of the qualities of specific of the two focal length was amazing ...listen bro you've got skills...hands down, and the Model is Super Gorgeous, plus she helps display your images in great detail...again bro you've got Great Skills...amen
uhhhm wtf.... i learnt so much in the first 5mins about composition and urban photography than any photography tips video and i didnt even click this video for tips just lens ideas LOL Thanks Manny for this style of showing off gear :D
i'm slowly switching from canon to sony for photos and you are my go to guy so I'm grateful for this content. "do you have sanitizer in your bag?" oh 2020, i hate you.
Really really great video Manny! Amazing explanations. I know you've talked about your anxiety talking on cam but you've become so good. Didn't even consider these but looking at em now for sure!
Remember this comment when you get to a million subs bro! The amount of value you put into every video is amazing, and you make things easy to understand, it's a great combo!
Awesome review!! I need something compact and has weather sealing. So, it seems that Sigma 35 f/2 is the way to go. I assume it is great for environmental portraits. The bokeh of the 35mm f/2 is pretty good as well.
Thank you. Loving your content. Great photos as always. What are those gloves you are wearing in this video? I need them in my life for shooting in colder seasons.
OMG there streets are so clean, so nice... like they were made specially for being a photo studio!!! I would like to see Manny shooting like this in Saratov in autumn :)))
Those lenses look amazing and I love the 65mm for street sigma killed it. You do a great job on the shoots great work ! Btw I’m looking at the samyang 135mm f2 to use on my Fuji gfx 50r and was searching for a review and came across your review from about 5 years ago. It was amazing to see how far you have come from a production standpoint. I really appreciate your work Manny. Keep doing what your doing ! I always enjoy your content it’s fantastic
Hey Manny. Fan of your work. The yellow flower shot with amber lights in the back, I see you shot with 1250 ISO and 1/500 shutter. Having in camera stabilization I am sure you could have lowered the shutter and also your ISO for less noise. Did you do that to increase the amber light contrast in the background? Awesome work!
Dope shots as usual bro! Not sure I'd give up my Sony 35mm f/1.8 for that Sigma 35, but the 65mm is an interesting lens and focal length. Thanks for the info!
I'm only starting to get into portrait photography and your creative style is really very inspiring! I really appreciate the behind the scenes of your creative process when making your compositions.
Great video Manny and inspiring to get some prime glass. I have always used variable focal length glass ie 24-70, 70-300 etc as I have choice and sometimes I can not stand back far enough if all I have is say 50mm. Though the 35mm in this video does seem rather nice bit of kit !
Thanks for doing a quick comparison to the 35 1.8. I haven't seen other people doing that.
Not a Sony shooter, but still came for Manny's fire photos, tips and inspiration. Great work as always, dude. Killing those natural light portraits in this vid!

I agree : )
Your eye for composition is unreal. What a lesson this has been
Short, straight to the point. No BS. Love the new video format.
65mm F2 is the real gem out of the bunch including the 45mm f2.8 last year. Sigma is aiming high at Voigtlander APO Macro 65mm F2, record high 50mtf reading at lenstip at F4.
Love the spots you have chosen to take them pictures 👋
That very first shot made me super stoked to get that 35mm f2. I was literally wondering about getting shots of that nature with that lens. Freakin champ did it in the first minute. Thanks my dude. CANT wait to shoot Boudoir with this banger.
That railing shot....LOVE IT!
Perfect!! Lens for something like Sony A7C, and APS-C, essentially giving 56mm and 105mm look on a budget with a solid feel.
I have 2 of the I series and going for the 3rd..Built quality is out of this world and image quality is amazing.
The black and white at 5.45 was really good. Loved it!
First of all...you work with one of my dream cams and the outcome is excellent!!!!
I am in awe with these lenses.
WOW!!! You hit the bulls-eye again, Manny!
Love your style Manny, some phenomenal shots there and you really take viewers on the journey and show us how things are done!
Many you are a great inspiration to me! I do aviation photography but following your tips I've been able to get awesome shots of my family!
It’s not just manny’s photo skills, the model’s really good at posing as well.
I see you stepped up your 4k 60fps game Manny! Looks great on my 10bit monitor. I will definitely be getting the 65mm F2 for the Sigma fp L-mount. This is a good video that really shows me how it renders...Thanks man.
how do you like 65mm?
@@mattfik745 I haven't used it for work yet but testing it out, I found it very sharp and perfect for close portraits in place of a heavy 85 1.4.
Came here to learn more about the lenses you listed but came here to learn more techniques from you. Your work is amazing 😍
The results look amazing. I was surprised how clear and sharp the shot in the subway entrance turned out given how low the light looked. Do they make the same lenses for Canon?
You are indeed the master of taking the mundane and making it look amazing. Awesome video as usual!
Thanks for checking out the new gear! Can't wait to see these lenses in photographers' hands. :)
“Do you have sanitizer in your bag”
“Yea”
*proceeds to rub face
Lol. I asked because I was going to have her touch the railing
I know this is about showcasing the 2 lenses... but I think the commentary on composition is what makes this video a winner. Helping learning photographers to "understand" composition by using what's available to them in their environment. Thanks Manny

spitting techniques as you work a location teaching without teaching is a nice change of pace.
love that it wasn't all about the lenses.
Oooooh man, for compact lenses, these are pretty amazing. Also, diggin' how you're showing us how you compose the shot to your style too man! I really hope photogs not just only watch for the lens review but also LEARN how to compose a portrait shot with your surroundings. Excellent video Manny!
MANNY :-O the shot at 5:40 is an ASOLUTE KILLER!
Accurate !
What gloves are you rocking Manny? Another great video btw.
Manny when you just gonna say it man. 35mm is your favorite lens at this point 😊
I'd guess 85mm is his favorite.
Can’t imagine using a 65mm but could be good to get slightly different perspectives! I love 35mm
Bro shout out to the video quality my guy! Ya boy stepping that game up💪🏾 solid work family. Love the growth!
More important than the lens reviews is the knowledge of how to compose shots on the street. And to think he did these images with no flash.
Appreciate that. I love going out and doing this. It’s a great exercise for your photography eye.
Manny you are my favorite photographer! I learn so much from you!
I was lookig forward to buy these lenses and you sold them to me with this video. Amazing work as always Manny! Thanks!
uhhhm wtf.... i learnt so much in the first 5mins about composition and urban photography than any photography tips video and i didnt even click this video for tips just lens ideas LOL Thanks Manny for this style of showing off gear :D
Hey Manny, just wanna say thanks for continuing to inspire me to get better at photography. I learned everything through your vids!
i'm slowly switching from canon to sony for photos and you are my go to guy so I'm grateful for this content.
"do you have sanitizer in your bag?" oh 2020, i hate you.

Dude...you find sweet light just about everywhere you go! Sweet images!!
Love the 65mm shot going down the stairs manny you killed it as usual 🙌
Really really great video Manny! Amazing explanations. I know you've talked about your anxiety talking on cam but you've become so good. Didn't even consider these but looking at em now for sure!
Remember this comment when you get to a million subs bro! The amount of value you put into every video is amazing, and you make things easy to understand, it's a great combo!
Great photographer, great model, great lens, great camera body, great location. 😃
Loved all your videos... especially all the recent ones .... very clear and to the point !
Good eye scoping out the V composition!
Awesome review!! I need something compact and has weather sealing. So, it seems that Sigma 35 f/2 is the way to go. I assume it is great for environmental portraits. The bokeh of the 35mm f/2 is pretty good as well.
oh yeah these look amazing! buying the 65 for sure!
Great shoot Manny, thanks for sharing!
Do you like more the sony 35mm 1.8 or the sigma 35mm f2?
Daaamn looking so sharp, definetly shoud be my next lens 🤙
You video quality stepped up 1000% good job bro.
65mm F2 vs 85mm F1.4 DGDN. This headache never seems to end. haha thanks for the review Manny!
Getting so good manny!
Thank you. Loving your content. Great photos as always. What are those gloves you are wearing in this video? I need them in my life for shooting in colder seasons.
These lenses rock! Cheers!
Another dope vid. I just got your retouching tutorial and the presets that came with it are 🔥.
Another great video, Manny! What bag is it?
Chicago is flat out one of the best cities to shoot in... Awesome vid.
Whoa, the composite on these!
Great shots 😍
Loved them all 👌🏼
OMG there streets are so clean, so nice... like they were made specially for being a photo studio!!! I would like to see Manny shooting like this in Saratov in autumn :)))
I would like to see a comparison of the Sigma 65mm and the Voigtländer 65mm 2.0 APO Lanthar
Excellent photoshot tips and explainations!
Great shoot, you’re opening so many people eyes 👀

Images looking as dope as ever. I’m always torn between getting a 35 or 85 so maybe I just jump in the middle with this for my street photography...?
Love it bro.. dope shots I never thought of bringing the subject forward to it’s not distorted when shooting low.
“Isn’t it amazing?” Haha love the enthusiasm. Yes it is Manny! Thanks for another awesome video. Super informative! Thank you! 🙏🏼
What a market class! Awesome!

As always great content😍😍😁💖💖
Your videos are always an inspiration, thank you 🙏👍👍👍👌👌👌
Dude! Great photos! Acquiring composition is the hardest thing for me.
Dope shots as usual bro! Not sure I'd give up my Sony 35mm f/1.8 for that Sigma 35, but the 65mm is an interesting lens and focal length. Thanks for the info!
Excellent Review!! Thanks for the gems. God Bless. Happy New Year Manny.
What camera and lens you use to record this video? Looks great.
A7sIII + 20mm 1.8
Great eye for composition Manny📸👌
what template do you use on your site? looks so good
The train shot is dope!
The best photographer in the world 🌎
video so smooth bro what camera is that
\
The photos are fire. loving that 65... I'd skip the 85 and pair it with a 135 for tele
Manny Do the comparison video between the Sigma 35mm f2 vs Sony 35mm f1.8
I'm only starting to get into portrait photography and your creative style is really very inspiring! I really appreciate the behind the scenes of your creative process when making your compositions.
Thanks bro for another amazing video. You are the man.
Great video! How do these lenses compare with comparable Zeiss and Leica lenses?
Man did I miss Manny shoots like this!
The picture at 3:53 is super clean bro 👌
damn dude you are just so good at directing themodel and taking the perfect photo from the scenery
You are amazing. This is a very helpful video brotha 👍🏽👍🏽
Yoh this was awesome!
This is why the 28-70 f2 with the R5 is amazing you don’t need 2 or 3 lenses
Yeah, it's also amazing to not spend $3,899 for the R5 camera and $2,999 for that lens, and to not carry a gigantic 3.15 lb. lens.
Great video Manny and inspiring to get some prime glass. I have always used variable focal length glass ie 24-70, 70-300 etc as I have choice and sometimes I can not stand back far enough if all I have is say 50mm. Though the 35mm in this video does seem rather nice bit of kit !
That why i love manny.’s video. « composition » ^^ Talented. Thx Manny
Now I definitely have to start investing in a 35mm prime.
Samyang F 1.8 ? What you think ?
Great work ❤
