Place looks nice. I live in North Austin so would love to swing by for a visit but I guess there's no day pass option. You guys play pretty good - right around the 3.5 - 4.0 level. Reasonably clear video too. Edit: oops. I guess there is a $50 day pass option. Not exactly reasonable when other places are $5 - $10 for indoor but not your fault.
They are really a private club atm. Not enough courts yet for daily drop ins. Hopefully when they get the outdoor courts done! Also every member has passes, so you can meet someone who is a member and come play for free.
If these guys are 3.5, then most of the country is 2.5-3.0. These dudes at least play a complete style of pickleball. They are a bit inconsistent, but zero self assessed “3.5’s” in my area even attempt to play a soft game…because they literally don’t have the skill set….
I was gonna say the opposite for the courts I play at haha... The 3.5s in my area are somewhat better than they are. Specifically in the area of taking advantage of popups and dead dinks.
