Really cool riffs. This is the kind of stuff I would've ate up back when I first got into metal and the the almighty riff was god of my musical life. These days I can still enjoy it but it doesn't thrill me as much as it used to; probably because I just heard way too many thrash and death metal bands. Still, I think anyone who loves riffs as much as I used to would love this. I also appreciate how it's basically thrash but with DM vocals. I wouldn't call this tech-death personally; to me, musically, this is pure old-school thrash, even down to the melodic lead breaks that harken back to classic metal ala Maiden and Priest. That "heavy riff into new heavy riff into new heavy riff into melodic lead" was something Metallica mastered. Another thing I appreciate is how the vocals aren't just about being as deep and heavy, aggressive, or disgusting as possible but are actually trying to find rhythmic patterns in the vocals. I think just personally if I'm going to listen to death metal these days it's usually going to be bands that are doing something new and interesting like Ulcerate and... well, mostly Ulcerate, though I can also enjoy Horrendous and Blood Incantation and Rivers of Nihil.
This album is riff city
Album is a masterpiece 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
You should check out Edifice of Tyranny from the same album. It's packed with beautiful riffs.
One of my favourite tech death albums, a hidden gem, packed with riffs
I hear a lot of Psycroptic influence going on.

never actually had read the lyrics, but i agree that the theme wasn't at all what i would have thought it was based on the music
