Hellblade 2 looks phenomenal..... no not phenomenal - simply EPIC. As for the release date, I am sure it will release in August 2024, because the first Hellblade was released in August 2017. Bethesda's Blade I am sure it will be released in 2026 or as a launch title for the new Xbox console in 2027.
Xbox had a great showing. Blade could really be amazing. Arkane could really do something special with it. Sony really did come back swinging with the surprise free dlc for ragnorok. Remains to be seen how much comes with that dlc is but still cool. Idr if Nintendo had anything announced but definitely think the turnout was great for everyone.

IMO you're overstating the importance of BG3 for Game Pass. Aside the fact that XBOX has to have a GP calendar waaay in advance, BG3 is a classic RPG and as you said yourself multiple times, it's typical of PC game. And I belive the way it did fare on PS was maily 'cause of the hype / Series S "controversy".
Am so hyped for Blade, I have very fond memories of buffy the vampire slayer on the original xbox, so satisfying to stake them, this has so much potential, and just wow for senua saga, I saw gta6 and thought no way could those graphics be possible, step up Senua which looks so much better! I feel this gen is really hitting its stride

I kinda think you should have put the Xbox games that did win awards at the top of the video, rather than like an afterthought at the back. Highlight Hi-fi Rush with its audio award, and Forza Motorsport for best racing game and Innovation in Accessibility awards.
I thought there would be more of an Xbox presence, but I guess it was better than last year. I'm not going to expect much from Xbox first party at The Game Awards next time.

The game awards are pointless, why are people giving this format air time. It’s too long and just about “him”. If GoW is a free DLC, why did we have to pay for spider-bug 2, that was realistically only DLC. Why are we having to pay for the remasters, they should all be free upgrades. $ony are just greedy and have no games in the pipeline.

It’s going to be a shadow release in June. Meaning, they are going to announce it during the Xbox showcase and say that it is available immediately. I was doing some research a few days ago and dug up the June release info. We will see if it holds true. It sounds like it could definitely enhance gameplay, based off of what I’ve heard people with the dual sense controller saying.
This show is less and less about the awards every year, and more and more about the announcements. Guess that's why Geoff Keighley limited people stage time, he wanted to make sure he could get top buck from all the companies to advertise their games that will be delayed 9 times....that and to give Hideo his sweet time up there to make translation a nightmare.
