Shape of Despair is my fav funeral doom band, but I recommended to you to listen the Arcana Coelestia's album "Le mirage de L'ideal" its a truly masterpiece. Also the two demos of Left in Torment are really good.
I'm only halfway through the album but I'm already impressed with how much your sound has improved since Under The Sky of a Dying Heaven ! It's both very immersive and epic ! I don't think a lot of bands can manage to make these both things work together but somehow you do. 👍 I hear a lot of influences... not just Funeral Doom but also symphonic music, gothic metal, post-metal, ambient... I like how you incorporate those melodic cello lines as well. It sounds outer-worldly sometimes (I mean that in a very good way)... Brilliant stuff !
RUclips did show me this vídeo while I was looking for videos of people playing my Doom mods. And I'm glad it did. Now I'm making a new Doom mod listening to it! ^_^ I wish the best for the band! ^_^
