How do you reduce the latency of an effect pedal change? I'm using what I learned from your video to change presets on my Quad Cortex but it takes a bit of time before the change is triggered, causing a stutter. Is there a way to fix this?

Does the automation button need to be set to "Read" to allow changes of instruments in a player? I'm interested in using this feature (to change sounds within a song); however, I've found that with the automation button set to "Read" that it changes the assigned output to Main from whatever it has been set at as soon as playback begins.
Switching between different instruments should work even with the Automation mode set to "off" instead of "Read". I can't see that starting playback would change the routing of an instrument in the mixer. The routing information isn't stored in Patches either so they shouldn't change. Just to be clear: Are you talking about the assigned output of an instrument (in the mixer) or about an output device (specific output of your audio interface)?
So is there anyway to take program changes that I have developed in songs and copy them over to show mode? I want to automate my kemper changes with the tracks.
Not an automatic way. You need to re-create them as patches on the Shop Page.

Kann man die Songstruktur auch separat aus Studio One in eine Show übertragen?
Ich exportiere im Moment die einzelnen Stems und fügen sie in die Showpage einzeln ein, da ich nicht immer alle Stems als Mixdown benötige
Frage 2:
Wie sieht es mit Automation aus?
Ist das in der Showpage möglich?
Z.B. anheben des Organ Sounds bei einem Solo
Frage 3:
Muss ich unser StudioLive 16.0.2 Mischpult auch als externes MIDI Gerät anlegen um die Szenen bei Songwechsel per MIDI zu wechseln?

Frage 1: Du musst es tatsächlich manuell machen, im Moment gibt es hier noch keine Funktion, das automatisch zu machen.
Frage 2: Automation geht nur auf Basis von Patches... also du kannst Änderungen von Effektketten, Parametern usw. machen, aber nicht in Form von Automationskurven (und auch nicht graduell), sondern nur durch Patchänderungen.
Frage 3: Dazu kann ich leider nichts sagen, weil ich selber kein StudioLive-Pult habe. Da müsstest du mal in Foren oder Social Media nachfragen...!

Wenn die Pads MIDI CCs senden kann, dann ja. Ansonsten (wenn sie nur Noten senden) leider nicht.

@@studioonetutorials Hi Lukas, mittlerweile funktioniert alles gut mit der Show Page. Das einzige was noch fehlt: Wie ordne ich den einzelnen Patches im Perform-Modus eine MIDI CC Message zu, so dass ich mit einem Controller-Button die Patches weiterschalten kann?
@@ubsch5379 Das Patches-Weiterschalten funktioniert immer über Commands. Wenn du in die Einstellung von deinem MIDI-Controller bei den Externen Geräten gehst, dann kannst du dort über MIDI-Learn einen MIDI CC einem Befehl zuweisen. In deinen Fall wären dann dann wohl die Befehle "Next Patch" und "Previous Patch". Oder z.B. "Goto Next Section", falls man seine Backing Tracks live steuern möchte.

Isn't the Arranger Sections + Perform View pretty similar already? What exactly do you miss?
@@studioonetutorials not really . With LIve I can load 40 or more different clips each into its own location that I can trigger with a controller which allows so much more flexibility when performing live. It feels like Studio One has been designed more to be used for playing backing tracks. It's probably more suited to bands, solo guitarists or keyboard players. In that context, it would do a fine job but if your live performance is about sample launching and live sequencing I can't see how the Studio One setup would give anywhere near the flexibility that clip launch does. But maybe Im missing something
