As a pale person, I need to DEFEND the Emma Stones, & Natasha Lyonnes of the world. Do you know how hard it is to live your life with skin the shade of paper (even as a stunning actress) and not get discoloration all over your arms? Or chest? Or legs? As a pale person? Nearly impossible. (I’m looking at you, my idol, Julianne Moore) Even with makeup, you would normally see that. Or you would see texture. I think their ability to wear these tones is such a win for someone like myself that has always wanted to, but simply couldn’t. I wear spf. But this all happened to me by like 15. It’s wild how quick that happens. It’s just not possible for so many people so I have to applaud it. But-I just unabashedly love Emma Stone’s red carpet look regardless of this whole skin tone conversation. I think it looks great. The embroidery is gorgeous.

Girl I see what you’re saying but trust me you don’t need to defend pale ppl and their fashion choices - decades of Eurocentric beauty standard brain washing has done that for you many times over atp.
@@KrayzieAries happy to help a fellow pale person out lol. I still struggle but the one I wear most and is most reliable is Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation in 1Cool. It’s a decent color match, it’s full coverage and it dries matte so I don’t need to powder. I know we all love dewy skin but I have found a matte foundation is so much more natural and imperceptible on my skin and I can always add dew where I want with auric glow lust in morganite (best dewy highlighter for fair skin because CT isn’t fair enough for me) and second best highlighter that gives a soft focused glow is Rose Inc Pearl. For other foundations with shade matches, I like Glossier, Nars, Rose Inc & Haus Labs.
