getting an SVS ad while watching an SVS review, nice youtube. I already know/knew I wanted these, but your review style and hype train makes me more confident in my choices
for the price of this and you want bass, you can buy the SVS Ultra Evolution Bookshelf and 8(count it, eight) SVS SB-1000 12" subwoofers. now that i want someone to review.
I have the Pinnacles and they can get hella lout with my Hypex 700w 3 channel amp. I'm about 11 feet away from them and no issues but I did treat the crap out of my family room with some issue between 40-60htz. When listening to music I leave my two SVS Utlra PB16 subs out of it. 2-channel with the Pinnalce is so good. It's rediculous. In fact, adding the subs to these in stereo mode runis it. For movies, the subs are used and work perfectly even if I am crossing over the Pinnacles at 40htz. My room is 19 wide by 25-30' deep. It's a familyroom with dining and kitchen but it's the only place we have to set up a makeshift theater room. I'm glad you like the Titans.
Congrats on your purchase ! I just bought a pair of Pinnacles, evolution center channel, 4 bookshelves, 4 ultra elevations, and 4 PB 16 Ultra subs for a 7.4.4 .Coming from a Klipsch Reference Premier setup.I haven’t had a chance to set everything up yet because of work, but I’m looking forward to it. Just a heads up, RUclips Channel Audioholics did a technical review on the Pinnacles and recommended running the speakers full range with your subs, to avoid cross cancellations. You don’t need to use a crossover with these bad boys.
@ I have about 20 panels including bass traps from GIK. I’m trying to convince my wife to let me get some ceiling panels, but it’s looking 50/50. I don’t have a dedicated room so everything is in my living room 😂.
@@kkenmmac22 LOL! I have eight 17x17 soffit traps and a bunch of other traps for sides and two 5.5" 2x4 ceiling traps. Also, four 10" Sound Blocks. How the hell do I set the mains to full in Dirac Live? I'll be messing with that tomorrow.
I feel like you'd get the same reaction having a pair of Magnaplanar LRS. If you recommend these after Andrew Robinson raves about them, I might have to seriously consider the Pinacle.
Massively unfair comparison. These don’t even measure up to certain speakers in their price category. MoFi 888, KEF R7M, Ascend ELX, Philharmonic HT BMR would all embarrass these, and they are all a cut below those new Arendals in terms of bass extension and distortion free output. Still waiting for Erin or Amir to slap the 1528 series to the Klippel.
@@rockroll9513 I said “measure up”, meaning they have been measured using state of the art equipment, and found lacking in comparison. You can argue preference over objective performance all day, but that’s just cope. If the speaker sounds good, it will measure good. The 4 I mentioned measure better than the SVS for the same money.
@@MechAdv "...would all embarrass these." That's what you said. They might measure flatter but how do you know they're better? You don't. If somebody blindfolded you and asked which speaker is which I bet you would not know.
Planar magnetic tweeters and an oversized box with two responsive 8” and high-end crossover components would have made them close to perfect. They are great for HT but fall short for two-channel listening. i
..How does one exactly do a review on speakers? Because of how much the room affects them, the positioning.. It took my last room like six months to find the optimal placement (as far as I knew optimal, the best so far) and the placement itself completely changes the sound of them. So how do you review a speaker without taking the time, doing the treatment..?
Impact...Theater speakers have impact a ton of it! They punch ya in the face...Musical speakers try to be audiophile meaning you get what is recorded only and purely...
Hmmm. I’ve been demoing the towers (not the titans, one step smaller) for a couple of weeks, and comparing them against PSB T2 towers. I think I simply disagree with your review. I don’t find the tweeters forward. In fact, i find the balance of the speaker to be warmer…that is a bit more bass than the PSB’s. I’ve played everything from classical to rock to pop to EDM, and they are doing really well in my space. I’m thinking you have yours too close to the back wall, and it likely is messing with the mix. That’s whey the SVS 45 day trial is so important for me. Speakers need to be demo-ed in the space you will use them.
@ because of you I had the JBL Studio 570’s and when I worked at Best Buy I actually brought them to work and compared them to all the other speakers and found the Martin Logan’s were one of the only few that outcompeted them as far as sound quality and overall depth. Sufficed to say the JBL’s are wonders for their price. The Martin Logan’s are magical and punch above their weight class. Hope to see you get a pair in for review some day.
Yeah Z expensive tower speakers are in trouble. Attention Arendal, Perlisten, KEF, Local you guys are on notice. Don't spend on extra on those towers. Get the Titans and vertical and horizontal amplify. I keep telling the board members or emotiva and SVS merge and dominate the industry.
I'd be curious to hear SVS's new line. I tried the Ultra Bookshelf's a few years ago, and didn't like them at all. The soundstage was big, but it was a garbled mess. Nothing was really placed anywhere; everything was just kind of everywhere.
Its so interesting that all the reviews are on the Titans and the Pinnacle. $4000,00& 5000,00 nobody has reviews the Smallest tower. The Ultra evolution tower which I think replaced the really Popular Ultra tower about $ 2500.00. Whats up with that?

I felt a bit of sadness from your voice when mentioning Chewbacca plunging herself into reviews
I miss seeing her around too man
the intro song already is fkn great!
I remember when this basement was an empty space OH LOOK A KITTY
16:17 Hmmm those drives....as expected, Zeos truly has it all.
All the food groups

Muh Hua Ha....I look down upon your Titan from my Pinnacle....
love Drake... remember when you reviewed chewy. he deserves a formal introduction to the channel.. or i missed it?? thanks

Ok Z… enough is enough!! You need to send me some of your speakers and one of your 15” subs for free! Seriously! Your room makes me jealous! 🎉

I can only compare to other things I've heard in this room. So I have a personal baseline. You can extrapolate from that.
Hey Z, what is the difference between home theater and music speakers?😊
Impact...Theater speakers have impact a ton of it! They punch ya in the face...Musical speakers try to be audiophile meaning you get what is recorded only and purely...
Volume potential. PLUS music speakers have to do bass usually more. Since most 5.1 have the .1 which is a sub to help.

How many fireplaces does Zeos have to have to name them?
Well just two.
It's been years since you've done a Martin Logan review. Curious to hear your thoughts on the XT F100s. I have a pair myself and they sing.

Oct4th 2021. We all miss her.
Ohhh sorry to hear that!@ZReviews
Where did the design/engineering for this company come from? I know that's a vague question, but they seem to have just sprung up out of nowhere.
SVS has been around forever with Subwoofers. The speakers are more recent. Last 10 years or so.

better have a lateral 10 or 12 inch woofers
Too bad you never saw the streamlined Philharmonic HT towers
You know when the wallpaper is Ryuko Matoi it’s gonna be a good speaker

Always good food for thought ….and ears 😎
Meh .. keep moving along people

please review the new fiio btr17
Subwoofers are too cheaop and abudant to buy aspeaker like this. Compression drivers on the highs would have been money better spent.
You need a Zidoo to play movies. Stop using your PC!!!
