So I asked Sisco about why Pro Players are not using crazy movements and here is his take : Most professional snipers often do little to no movement because it’s great to keep it simple. It’s self explanatory to know what a sniper really is in real life or even in-game. You don’t have to move much if you’re supposed to set yourself in a stationary state now of course you you’re aware that you are always placed into a field of motion when you apply movement and given that snipers have to be really precise, they are never going to be consistent because it always depends on how you slide, where you slide, etc. Not alike aiming down your sight (ADS-ing) you’re more used to the muscle memory of drag scoping either you’re tracking the enemy while hardscoping or you’re tracking the enemy as you’re ADS-ing. Now me personally, I tend to always contest whoever I see because of course eventually most pro snipers will have to slide peek other opponents to break off one’s tracking. It’s always a battle of who got to react faster or who got to aim better. To break it down for you, most professional snipers just use movement when necessary. Either to peek opponents mid battle or to take a starter pick off of enemies who have the same intention to do so (for man-advantage). They don’t often use movement just purely aim because sliding before ADS-ing is such a waste of time if you’re aware the enemy’s sniper can pick you out as well. Just by standing still and ADS-ing. Amazing professional snipers like Heaven and LittleB, those guys have pure aim and it’s lethal. But ofc, that’s an opinion of mine and I think we can kind of get a majority to agree with me given that those guys are well-established players If you learned something from this video don't forget to like and subscribe. Same here. Efficient and effective. When I switch to playing passive, I started to improve my strategy and map awareness. It doesnt look cool but I clutch up a lot of round and games.
Im also classic sniper and the thing is in that sniping you can react to the situation quickly rather than switch sniping. And as a free player classic sniping feels alot better and i dont have any knife skin like karambit or whatever we call it ( i forgot the name of that knife lol). But being on a low end device. Sniping has always been a challenge for me because whenever there are 2 or 3 free kills ahead me i start to fire at them but my game lags and the frame skips when i shoot a bullet and when i was using switch sniping in these situations i always missed every shot but using classic sniping i can kill them easily even if my games lags or frame skipping occur because in that i can react to the situation very quickly as i said earlier. Classic sniping is the best option in ranked for me.
@@flex6564 same here and my device's display is not that good like the amoled ones so its hard to see the enemies from far or sometimes from close. But with that style its easy to concentrate on finding enemies on the screen.

Now i have 90fps running and my eyes adjusted to it. 90fps feels like 60 now. And when I put it to 60fps to save battery, it feels like its 30fps. Also now I have a good device, I lost my competetiveness, and just enjoying the game. I also notice that on 90fps my confidence boost to contest other sniper users. I remember when I am running away from my 3 enemies. It is a 1vs3 situation and they are all pushing forward. I didnt shoot 1 free kill and run. I run because I know my phone will lag Lol. Just get used to it. 1 day u will have ur new phone. And u will appreciate the game even more.

I think the idea of movement vs classic also depends on the environment that you’re playing in. In competitive snipers are holding long angles, getting first blood picks, playing for spawns or anchoring. While in ranked competitive play style goes out the window and it’s more about kills. Which If you are actually good at movement can allow you to streak up nicely

Originally I'm a Classic sniper but since the locus was so op back then when blank scoping was a thing I change to movement sniping cuz I really use one tap ads until I changed my settings and set it to hipfire

People call me a hacker or cuss me out cuz I literally just slide peek, aim and shoot, jump peak, aim and shoot, or just hardscope tricky CS like crossmap angles like the CT base angles from Tunisia and FR and Crash. the only special things I do is flicking like Siloh but I'm never gonna reach his level of flicking heads, even tho I mastered my gyroscope settings(I can't play at my best level without gyroscope, so don't suggest turning it off)

Or maybe 80/20 cause my movement sucks but trying to get better. I use to be a god but I used to play on my tablet now it is broken a few months later got it fix. At that time I lost all my muscle memory so I can't aim well now I am stuck asualt guns SMG and lmg sence I got my shotgun skill from the sniper so no shotgun
If enemy is agro, ill play more passive, if enemy too passive, ill play more agro Usually agro players are confident whereas passive players are more stable, the best way is aster both styles and play passive aggressive, take tyrant ex coach zeke for example, he agros when he knows where enemy is, and passive to predict the enemy location. That is my style and the best style IMO
I use a folding knife and i only use it for mobility im the middle of classic and the other thing but when I feel like trolling i will break ppls camera on mobile like i do on warzone
I'm a movement sniper😭 I play on a rectangle phone not on a square tablet. It's hard to aim and to mention, I don't use gyro. I started codm with AR so I prefer sniping, shoot, weapon switch, sprint, relocate, slide+weapon switch, and aim again.
I'd consider myself a classic sniper based off my passive playstyle, but still use amped just so i can go around the map faster. But ever since weapon switching speed was buffed in S6, I no longer use it.

dude i can't slide properly but i can drop a 10 kills sniper. i have a bad habit on my left thumb that's why sometimes i just stand or crouching. i need to practice my sliding or basic movements (but still can MVP in GM5 💀)
To balance this game and force snipers to use secondary pistols, they should flinch more when shot at... Or force them to use toughness perk more !!! Now they buff 30% speed switching knife lol
Why do I see so many snipers using amped with a melee or pistol when it says in the description "does not apply to melee or pistol swaps"? Seems like a waste if you're not switching to a throwable.
I emulate Aggressiveness and passive but I am not good anymore.. I just returned and the snipers has been nerfed like ADS speed or time, movement has been nerfed. But I still play it and improving my skills. I am not good at the game, just average..

Honestly it really depends on the situation you’re in. If you’re confident in your ability in your movement, you can always use it to dodge enemy bullets but still have to think about trying to hit a shot on them… I try to see the enemy first before they see me so I can react first to them and get a kill. Sliding to their back is also something I be trying to master so I can snipe them.
I personally was a movement sniper before but now a classic sniper and now I just feel more confident that my are shots more accurate but sometimes i use the gung-ho perk (on 1v1's) so i can do crazy movement while reloading

even with toughness the hit flinch is horrible trust me. Snipers are pretty balanced imo
