This is a Robotech branded product, hence the Robotech terms (though I slip a few times). If you're shopping for toys from the original show, head to HLJ using my link to show your support for this channel www.hlj.com/? Be sure to check that link often, the Sentinel Mospeada Tread (AKA Robotech New Gen Beta) is going up for PO any moment now! Full review of this toy should go live tomorrow night.
I love this figure. Proportions look super good. Robotech is what I grew up on and this looks great. Love the filler pieces that add a nice bulk to the torso. Cant wat for Roy. fingers crossed for December release.
All my years of youtube...I still get excited whenever you post a video. Macross gods sent you earth. We don't deserve you haha....Awesome video as always.
It's interesting to see how much "shared" engineering and ideas there are in this toy in comparison to Bandai and Yamato/Arcadia's offerings. Some ideas have been borrowed less successfully, unfortunately. Three Zero even borrowed the locking wing connectors for some reason. There are some nice innovations and improvements too though. :)
Hi, great video as always! What are your thoughts on the quality? How does it compare, for example, to the Arcadia 1/60 releases? Are the Robo-Dou figures close to 1/60 scale? Thanks!
The backpack doesn't sit as flat as I'd like in Gerwalk mode.. 😟 That could be an issue when it comes to the Super Parts. Assuming they release those at some point.
Hips seem good but time will tell. Yes, ThreeZero and KitzConcept are under the HG license, BigWest doesn't give the license to foreign companies so not much choice there.

Agreed, best proportioned G1 VF, period.
Awesome vid! Love to see a comparison video vs this one and the Kitzconcept 1.5 version. Watched both your reviews and both seem really good.
That's my plan for when Roy's gets released.

I think I’ll get that withering version because the normal version doesn’t look so good to me
Oh shoot, I thought this was the review not the transformation
Bandai chogokins are best imo.
But they're impossible to get unless you live in Japan or don't mind spending $400 on Ebay.
@drewlovelyhell4892 Just need to know where to findthem and they aren't 400. Only rare ones.
How sturdy are the hip joints?
HG license this to 3zero and KItzconcepts?

Are there any chunky monkey reissues or KO?
Seems like there's always some chunky monkey KO in production, you can probably find them on eBay.
i swear u up the review already few hours ago then it when private...
Someone pointed out I missed a point of articulation so I'm going to correct and reupload.
