I'm baking a cake for one of my best friends' birthday. I'm home alone, the window is open, sunlight and fresh air are streaming through the windows and into the kitchen and the living room. I was at a reading event yesterday, I stayed up late watching my favorite show, but my body woke me up at eight this morning. Does my ear hurt? Yes. Do I have a chemistry test tomorrow? Yes. Am I behind on some classes? Yes. But this isn't going to stop me from enjoying baking a cake, dancing to this playlist in a sunlit kitchen.
