A82 Pulpit Rock Loch Lomond Documentary

The films details the challenges McLaughlin & Harvey faced when constructing the new A82 road at Loch Lomond and how they successfully completed the new bridge structure enabling two lanes of traffic on the road for the first time in over 20 years.
This design & build contract involved construction of road improvements including viaduct structure, rock cutting slopes and widening of existing carriageway over a length of 400m on the shores of Loch Lomond.
The scheme removed a ‘bottleneck’ for traffic around a tight headland on the main trunk road from Glasgow to the West of Scotland and the Scottish Highlands.
