everything is fine untill 2:08, then it is just stupid, rotate the blocks the other way and you would get the same effect. It only generates or changes cells after the scanline has finished moving
The scan line doesn't go in a single fixed direction, it goes in the opposite direction as whatever type of cell is being updated at the moment. If you flip the cells the other way, the scan line goes the other way
Ideas for cells! The death Star cell: it throws a laser that destroys every cell in the area where the laser is and shorts the laser at a random trick (inspired by: Star wars death star) Glitch cell: the glitch cell glitches and teleports at a random place when touched, (idea thought of myself) Planet cell: a planet cell has a texture of a lava World that is a 3x3 Big cell, this cell Can Make other cells orbit it and even Make Them Collide, if 2 planet cells collide, they both die and turen into random cells, (inspired by: IRL planets) Portal cell, one cell that goes into a portal gets teleported to the other portal cell, (inspired by: portal 1 & 2’s portals)
I have two ideas for new add-ins A: a different type of thing, not really a cell, more of a modifier. It would show as a frame around the cell. This "modifier" called a limiter can be placed on a cell and another cell placed on top. this is how it works, the first placed cell would only effect the 2nd placed cell, or only effect cells that are NOT the second placed cell. B: also a modifier, would show as a lock in the middle of the cell, the cell underneath cannot be moved, (optional: cannot be destroyed, either) it still applies any effects to other cells. modifiers do not get replicated by cells that would normally duplicate them, but the cell underneath can

When the sub-sub-ticking line moves, this happens:
The mover cells start randomly rotating around like crazy
It happens every time a mover moves
YOOO SCATTERED CELLS
also, nice video! it’s quite a simple topic which you were able to explain in an interesting way. great stuff
for anyone wondering why the direction the invisible line moves in matters, its cause subticking moves cells first right then left then up then down, so if subticking was reversed the invisible live would have to move the opposite direction for the infinity lines to not happen
Why doesn’t it cause an issue when I have 2 generators facing left then?

This is actually something I had to think about when making cell machine in Minecra-

everything is fine untill 2:08, then it is just stupid, rotate the blocks the other way and you would get the same effect. It only generates or changes cells after the scanline has finished moving
The scan line doesn't go in a single fixed direction, it goes in the opposite direction as whatever type of cell is being updated at the moment. If you flip the cells the other way, the scan line goes the other way
Waiting for sub-sub-subticking
Ideas for cells!
The death Star cell: it throws a laser that destroys every cell in the area where the laser is and shorts the laser at a random trick (inspired by: Star wars death star)
Glitch cell: the glitch cell glitches and teleports at a random place when touched, (idea thought of myself)
Planet cell: a planet cell has a texture of a lava World that is a 3x3 Big cell, this cell Can Make other cells orbit it and even Make Them Collide, if 2 planet cells collide, they both die and turen into random cells, (inspired by: IRL planets)
Portal cell, one cell that goes into a portal gets teleported to the other portal cell, (inspired by: portal 1 & 2’s portals)
Idea: make a calculator in the life engine
What music did you use? Interesting vid btw.
I think is was "Z and X" from CMMM+
RUclips thinks this is Minecraft LOL
Why tf does it say Minecraft in the description
I have two ideas for new add-ins
A: a different type of thing, not really a cell, more of a modifier. It would show as a frame around the cell. This "modifier" called a limiter can be placed on a cell and another cell placed on top. this is how it works, the first placed cell would only effect the 2nd placed cell, or only effect cells that are NOT the second placed cell.
B: also a modifier, would show as a lock in the middle of the cell, the cell underneath cannot be moved, (optional: cannot be destroyed, either) it still applies any effects to other cells.
modifiers do not get replicated by cells that would normally duplicate them, but the cell underneath can
so, how about sub-sub-sub-tiking?
Quack!
