We met in a field in Farndon today and you gave my daughters a short ride in your balloon. They said that it was "the best day of their lives". So, a great big thank you for giving them both a memory that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. You were wonderful.
WOW! That's super cool 😎 it was brilliant to meet your family, if you see us in the air you can chase us to the landing any time, I look forward to meeting you in a field .... somewhere 😀
Interesting, I don't know how many were made? And what the function was, but maybe not so many it will be interesting to here from anyone who flew one. (Then an update video on what we find out)
I've been doing some research through the flight manuals, but not coming across any reference to it so far, at the time it was built Thunder Colt would have been an independent company, so next stop 'the old boys network' and talk to some exT+C pilots. Very Interesting though. What do you fly?
You couldn't have asked at a better time, there will be a video coming out this weekend on balloons that have been donated to a growing museum/collection and the general balloon preservation movement 😀 👍

2:18, love the shot of the canal boats. Amazing scenery!
And for the triangles, maybe to help with heat convection? That's all I can think of.

BONUS - we got to stay and play 1 extra day, and the weather allowed us to fly on Monday morning - ride along ruclips.net/video/zVeX4mDr4oQ/видео.html
I honestly have no idea never seen the triangles before. I fly balloons around that size and never seen it. Ask Cameron balloons they might know ?
