- Count Dracula, the first vampire, was mysterious and alluring within his castle in Transylvania. Not unlike Paul Kalemkiarian, who is here with Bela Lugosi, Jr to talk about about his father and his wine.

Known as Count Dracula, Bela (Bay-law) Lugosi immigrated to America through Ellis Island in the 20s. Trained as a stage actor, he made his way to New York and landed the part as Count Dracula, the first vampire which inspired all of the vampire stories to come.

Paul: This is quite an honor to present to you guys some really, really fun wine, a fun wine, and go back a little history. My brother was the president of the Sons of the Desert Club in high school where we watched old movies in his room as a young 9, 10 year old, 11 to do that, all the black and whites. And when I found out that, and everybody says Bela Lugosi.
Bela: It’s Bela.
Paul: Bela Lugosi.
Bela: Right.
Paul: Introduced a wine, Bela Lugosi. Did he call himself Jr.?.

I have met Bela Jr. and drunk his wine. He is a fine gnetleman and his wine is excellent.

You constantly interrupted Bela Jr. and was very rude. You claim to big a big fan of his father's movies but had no clue that Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi were ever in any movies together. At 6:30 Bela recited the iconic line (I never drink Wine) from the original Dracula movie and it went completely over your head.

Why were you spitting out the wine?
Well sorry to say but I think Hungarian wine would be more authentic and they are actually renowned for their wines. I think Dracula would drink that bulls blood brand they have there is a bust of Lugosi at Vajdahunad castle in Budapest there is an agricultural museum there also and tourists can learn about animal husbandry and vineyards also there.
