I agreed with pretty much everything IGN said up until the first boss when the game opens up, which leads me to believe that whoever reviewed it only got an hour in and called it a day
It was annoying to me at first, but then I just swapped back to hand held after noticing moments of lag spikes while docked, and listened to my own music. Ended up completing it after 2 attempts with my own music
The tiny plot of luigi getting better and better at trying to be like his older brother is something they didn't have to do, but it really adds to the game!
I haven't played the game yet but i love the animation imagine if they made a mario cartoon this decade with that animation and the writing from the super mario movie that released last year it would be epic and probably one of the beat video game cartoons
