- This upload is something different and it's extremely rare and is an absolute treasure, therefore, I had a need to share it with the rest of people who love this movie.
I think it wasn't available on YT until now.
It's probably the first live performance ever of Nick Cave and Warren Ellis performing soundtrack from the movie "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford".
This was recorded sometime in mid August 2019 in Hamer Hall, Melbourne, Australia.
It's fascinating that they never performed it live since the movie release in 2007.
It's one of my favorite movies because it left deep impression on me and definitely is one of the most underrated movies ever made.
Brad Pitt said that, of all his movies, this is his favorite acting performance.
If you haven't watched it, I highly recommend watching it.

Nick Cave is more concerned with protecting his muse, awards are for sports not arts
It's too huge for Oscars.
This soundrack was made by two musicians. I think that only one man can get the oscar award.

So glad they played "Memory Time", Wind River was an exceptional movie and the soundtrack made it so much better.

Favourite, most powerful performance Brad Pitt was in. Incredible movie. I always had a fascination with the Wild West, and history. Outlaws like, Billy The Kid, and Jesse James, are very interesting legends. Really love the music in this movie as well. Amazing.

I started getting into the Music of Nick Cave and Warren Ellis. When I listened to the Soundtrack for the Red Dead Redemption 2 inspired and mostly underrated western, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, the music itself is like a mix of greek tragedy and melancholic themes.

the book is such a joy to read as a fan of the film. even among the admirers of the film, few people give it the credit i think it deserves for being a spectacular adapted screenplay.
