Can anyone give me the exact reason why these guys are so underrated even in the metal scene
People like to make pointless comparisons like “sounds like singularity cause it has atmosphere” and the like
cause they are really only exposed to a niche prog metalcore audience, which is unfortunate
because their is a great part of luck about a band being succesfull
Cause people only listen to the top 3 bands of their choices failing to put these genuine souls in there
I listen to atleast 20 new and upcoming heavy bands every week. They're way too many artists right now doing this style of music. Not saying it's not good, just saying that it's gonna be hard being seen when the market is flooded. I do really like this band though!

I was in the gym and saw they had new music and decided to give it a listen. I could not believe the first song. I’m scared to go into the others because I wanna keep this new feeling. My jaw hit the floor, 20/10. Most bands don’t evolve like this.
And now that the album has dropped I can honestly say, it’s the best work I’ve ever heard. This band’s growth is insane, hope they get the attention they deserve

Invent, Animate is easily the most slept on band out right now, been listening to them since 2014. They are so good.

@@sarcasm4371 I disagree. Maybe their last two albums, but their early work was very unpolished and juvenile. They've come into their own in the last few records.
@@sarcasm4371 Just my opinion man. I actually very much like Stillworld and Everchanger, and I still wouldn't put them anywhere near Heavener. Early IA sounded a lot like Discoveries and Singularity era Northlane, which is always a good thing. But that's just it, I feel IA has really grown into their sound. Their song writing is better, their production is better, it's just a more mature sound. Idk, maybe it's because I was in high school when that sound was popular and now I'm almost 30, my perspective has shifted. 2005-2015ish metalcore had a very distinct tune. Nowadays it has shifted to a more thall/djent/prog sound in a lot of ways. I'm not saying their old work was bad, just not close to as good as Heavener. I would say Heavener is a true 10/10, while the other works are more like a 7/10 or 8/10.
I'm also a big fan of the new ERRA record too. I think it's kind of the same thing with them outside of Impulse and Augment. The middle stuff is pretty mediocre.
That said, it's hard to compare band eras or especially ERRA and IA that have had different vocalists and different sounds through their discography.
4:14 I think this is the most retched, disgusting scream I've ever heard and I still can't get over it after damn near 2 months of having it on replay. Idk what pit he dug it out of but thank you 😭 this entire album is PERFECTION. Giving Sleep Token a run for their money!

Kinda shocked by how brutal and dark this is, given that all stuff I heard from these guys before is very melodic, sad and melancholic. This is just pure plutonium. Did not expect such level of heaviness from them

I cannot fathom how underrated Invent Animate is. This is an absolute flagship of modern prog metalcore. And they fucking slay live, just saw them and I’ve been listening to them for like a six days straight. Guys, go see them live whenever you can. This song in particular is fucking tremendous live!

saw these guys at the lorna shore christmas show and they basically said we know we arent as heavy as these other bands but check this out and played this. Fucking amazing ive been waiting for them to actually drop this on streaming.

They might have not been as heavy as Lorna Shore but they are melodic af. Some of the best metal out there in my opinion

This is litteraly insane hearing 2000s metalcore, but more heavier vocals, a brutal core rifts, and drumming, this is starting to be my favorite bands, like Motionless in white, this band is so underrated, probably not a lot of metalheads hear about them😮🐦⬛

First time listening to this band, this song is playing the whole session on my push day at the gym.
Already watched multiple live videos of this song and I gotta say its one of their most aggressive and technical songs they've made. Love how sludgey and groovey that breakdown in the middle is too.
I wouldn't say most technical but this is most definitely gonna be their heaviest track to date. I think even Caleb said on his Insta that it would be.

@@enigmaburrito1390 haha I think they just like hyping up the fans. On Greyview Keaton said Monarch was the heaviest song they wrote, which is one of my favorite songs by them as well.
But idk man, Native Intellect, Celestial Floods, and Dead Roots are all very heavy but they also have breaks with ambient parts, opposed to this song which is pure chaos from beginning to end (if you're listening to the album version excluding the cinematic scene) which is why I guess they say its the heaviest. This song also lacks diversity, which isn't bad imo and makes it one of their most unique songs ironically. They kind of just stick to that looping riff at the start which is super intoxicating, and that middle breakdown which is pure groove where their older material is all over the place. So I wouldn't say its their most technical or heaviest but definitely their most aggressive, straightforward and primal by far.
But then again that's just my opinion. All I know is everything they drop is a certified banger, as Nik Nocturnal would say. And I also think most fans including myself love IA moreso for the melancholic technicality blended with the heaviness in general.
