That's transatlantic tourists for you. Usually respect from the Continentals - not 100% from the French (ha ha) - and definitely from the Commonwealth.
Why don't 'parents' hold their childrens hands anymore ? Around 'on duty soldiers', especially on Royal duties, is not a kids play area. I am a UK Army veteran myself, who almost did 'Royal Duties' in the Summer of 1973. We were just training for it, when I was posted to West Germany.

It looks to me as if the little boy threw the Sergeant out of his routine. I wonder what would have happened should the little boy have approached the group of the Sergeant. It is not so difficult to keep younger children under control or to protect them from getting in the way.
Right???
The concept of parenting is lost on some people.
Why are these children allowed to go where the hell they like, isn’t there someone to control these brats
The little ankle-biters should be given a taste of cold steel... they don't like it up 'em you know!

@@gerryquinn5224 I read that just as the officers drew his sword lol.
Why can’t parents control there brats , it pisses me off when l see these little brats going towards the guards, ffs take control of them.
Exactly and these useless parents just stand there and do nothing
Done that guard 💂♂️ duty too many times lol well done boys ..
If you notice the sentry post at Queens House. It's a silent post. So no slamming of boots or making noise. Ex guards
Great to see so much public out and about again 👍🏼
I was at the Tower of London just after 10 on Wednesday morning. I left about 1 and missed this. I will make sure I arrive later the next time I go.
Nice one! I don't often see the word or keys ceremony. Thank you
This is probably the most common thing to happen in tower of London and normally they would go to the left

I worried those little brats would get marched over or trip the guards. Stupid parents.
Some people have no respect and it rubs off on there children
Qué guapos están con ese uniforme .Es muy bonito ❤❤
That sergeant was a big chap wasn't he?
Super tall and lanky.
Nice video mate well done
Thanks!
At one time you had to be 6 foot to join the Guards Regiments. Now, it looks like they have tiny children in uniform.
Beggars can't be choosers
All the lads in G sqn were six foot plus in Hereford back in the day.
It is good to see a bit behind the scenes,,,, so to speak ,,,very interesting
Is not behind the scenes that event is called escort to the word where they March to get a word and then March back
One of those guardsmen was a bit short. Are there no longer height requirements?
Possibly a female soldier
@@mipamat5804 Possible but I'm not sure they allow women in front line infantry units.

Having served in Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan Im sure it would take a lot more than a little boy to throw him off his routine.
I don't think it's tight the public comes right up to the space of the soldiers, especially on ceremonially duty. It doesnt happen abroad.
coldstream guards
colour sergeant is taller than officer
Can anyone explain what the guards went and told the other person?
Excellent video but would have been nice to see the inspecting officer a bit more s**t hot on his personal drill.
Typical gash Woodentop officer.
What's the rank of the soilder who came out holding the sword
I don’t know the rank, but he would be an officer.
A junior officer for sure.

That the sergeant doesn't have a fixed bayonet. It's obvious.

Definitely Grease is the word that you've heard.

It's escort for the Ward not the word!
Interesting, the colour Sergeant is carrying a knife/bayonet in his frog, but none of the other members of the section are.
Maybe because their bayonets are fixed on their rifles.
And the word today was fruitbat
Parenting skills terrible
2:21 what did he say?
"Stand at ease" followed by "stand easy"
It drives me mad that officers are so incapble of good drill. That poor excuse for one just ambled out. A bloody disgrace.
How the Officer joined the guard was very poor. He appeared to just stroll out
Isn't there a minimum height requirement for the Guards? That short arse fella looks ridiculous.
Used to be 6 foot, now dwarfs can apply
