Canned Kirkland chicken, sardines, maple syrup, paper towels, toilet paper - all get delivered to me free for min. order of $75. Live about 50 miles from closest COSTCO store and 80 years old with a little Scion car. Some things cheaper to buy" in store" and many things not available "online" and no refrigerated type items on 2-day delivery. Still a great service to us during Covid epidemic. Love the Nalleys Orginal Chili by the case, same with corn, beans, etc.
Im too cheap to buy new books so I find myself taking snapshots of the books on display then ordering them through my library, rarely am i impressed enough to go purchase the book later.. Cheap fun!!! Happy Montana Spring Carolina!!!
I went to costco last weekend with my daughter and shopped away. Once I got to the register the spell broke and I was like OMG, i have a cart full. I told the cashier my guess is $500, my daughter guessed $400, the cashier was impressed he was like you were only off by $7. Yes my friend I spent $492 in one trip. I have to limit my Costco runs because its so easy to bust my budget. Thanks for sharing, I love your videos❤❤❤
It's so hard to not buy it all at Costco!! Haha. They little things add up too. I knew this would be a big one! Seemed like everything was at least $10.
step1 make a meal plan step2 buy what you really need for 2 weeks. step3 enjoy your meals, look for toward to two favorite meals during the week that way you stay on track. step4 Time to shop! step5 write down your amount when you grocery shop off the app for the store. then write down the actual total you see for the item. step6 when you get home compare this week's receipts to your last one? How did you do? I hope your satisfied with your decision. Eating and shopping should be fun but remember in order to keep that joy we must MAKE A PALN AND STICK WITH IT! I hope this helps.
Mrs. Myers’s is the best cleaner, it has the best smell ever. I use it on my counter tops and bathroom vanity tops. Give it a try you will absolutely love it.
I am in desperate need of a Costco trip myself. I may need to pick up some of those Chicken Patties when I go because the Chicken Parm Sandwiches you made looked delicious and would make a great lunch for my girls during Spring Break!
I used to make chocolate chip cookies. Then when cooked I put some vanilla ice cream on one. Top with another one. Mash a little. Wrap in plastic wrap. Freeze. Good to keep some on hand
Something with corn dogs lately! I was at the store and because of the forklift stocking a bulk area, I had to walk near a freezer I have never seen before at this store. Corndogs, meatballs, I guess it was a frozen meat freezer. I felt compelled to buy a box of corndogs. We haven’t had those in several years, but I couldn’t walk by. Nostalgia set in, had to have them. We had them and broccoli for dinner. Watching utube another creator also bought some, first time I’d ever seen her buy something like that. Now you. My box was the big one. On sale, better deal than the small one. I made half. I had 2 he had three. Then he had three for the next days lunch. We have one more round of that meal in the freezer. I will probably not buy them again for another 2-4 years! Odd. 3 separate people in totally different areas of the country at different stages in life all bought the unusual all in like a weeks time. She has a spouse and teens, you have a spouse and littles, I just have a spouse. She Midwest, you out west, me northeast. Ha! Makes ya wonder…
When I had my family home and when I was growing up paper towels and Tissues were something we never bought it's just as easy to use a roll of tp to blow your nose just keep some around in other area's, paper towels can just be replaced with clean rags and dish towels there are even rags available that work well on glass, they're the blue or green ones you see hospital's use they are perfect for that and fabric napkins used at dinner time they don't have to be washed every time with a family that's the same size as yours, I never even bought baggies I used old bread bag's or grocery bag's to wrap our meat up with, I did buy alum foil but usrally only a small roll for baking meats I wanted to be tender. It it's all just a extra cost and the rags and napkins that would be used aren't even a 1/2 a load at the end of a month. With prices the way they have been I've been doing again... What's paid for those items is another package of meat maybe 2 so they're not worth it.
Are you serious? With everything going on now price wise. I get shocked when I see youtuber's that claim to shop cheaper or be frugal in their shopping. Start to go over board and not make very wise choices. They will always come up with some excuse! Oh well you know it's only once and a while. Or I haven't had a treat in a while. I'm not buying it anymore. And other words stop and at least be honest you wanted it! I made spaghetti yesterday 1 pound of hamburger 1 big can of mushrooms cut them up smaller. 2 onions chopped up and a jar of Ragu Vegetable edition sauce. That will feed 2 of us for the next 3 or 4 days. And that spaghetti also counted for a meal yesterday and today! Not afraid of left overs. We do or I want to say did buy soda once a week. But I need to put my foot down and tell the boss tonight no more. Price wise! Are you ready? $30:00 Dollars a week! NO MORE!! We very very rarely buy fast food! And we have No Costco or big box stores accept for BJ'S. And that is 2 city's away. Too high priced for my pocketbook! I personally think people actually think they are getting a better deal at those prices but they eat more of it Portion wise. Also I used to as a child us bread bags to keep my feet dry if I step in to much snow! I still do it now! I do have cloth napkins I sat here one day. And said to many paper towels being used instead of saving for the dog stuff. So I invested in some great cloth Napkins. Than I invested again in a sewing machine. So I' am going to make some more! Do you or your wife if your married have any other tips on saving money. I love it when people share information. And Do you know the name of those glass rags? I thumbed up your comment!
Use tp instead of kleenex. Bought bulk packages of "bar towels" for paper towel subs. and extra cheap wash clothes for wipe ups, dish clothes, etc. But still use paper towels also just less of them. Buy Dawn dish soap when it is on special sale couple times a year at COSTCO. Same with Depends and other pricey items.
@@rickyclark4870 Okay Thank You. I got confused with the colors of the hospital one's. I've never seen anyone washing the windows when I've been in the hospital. They also say you can wash your windows with newspaper.
@@whatmyohmy I'm a woman on my husband's account I worked for many years for my mother inlaw she has a company in my area it's been almost 40 year's she's still going strong, She uses microfiber rags for dusting just don't ever wash them in the washer with the glass rags.. I see that you caved into the call of the Girl Scout Thin Mints 😂. My daughter did too! I saw that bag on our counter and thought “Danger!! ignore!! Walk AWAY from the thin mints!” lol! My son-on-law was coerced by cuteness to put in quite a large pre-order for GS cookies and I managed to be gone during the time of arrival and consumption 😅/ dodged both bullets so far! I hear they are very good!! ❤ Just being silly… hope you enjoy!!
They were really good! I do wish the cookie part was bigger. That's one of my favorite things about Thin Mints is that it's mostly cookie with just a little chocolate!
So happy I can help you with that!! Haha. That's how I felt when I did instacart for awhile! Got my shopping fix without needing to spend extra money! haha
I need to pick up some TP. I have 2 6-paacks left from 3 big packs (30 rolls, 5 6-packs each) of Kirkland brand that I bought during the pandemic. It's just me but I don't like to run too low. I also need to pick up some vitamins and pain relievers. And I never leave without a rotisserie chicken.
I make those chicken parm sandwiches too. I love those. For the extinguisher I would have one near the bedrooms which tend to be down a hall and that tends to cut you off from getting to another extinguisher. You got a good stock up there.
If you have a grill/fire pit near the house, you should have one at the nearest door. Or if the garage is attached or close to the house, you should have one near that door as well.
Carolina, put your sour cream upside down in fridge. It is like cottage cheese and it likes making it it likes vacuum sealed bags. I’ve had it last 3 months after expired. 💙💙💙
We also have a fire extinguisher in our laundry room which is on the separate floor from my kitchen, But if your kitchen is close to your dryer that should be no problem.❤
Good idea I never thought of that one 😏 around your BBQ and or fire pit was the only place I thought of I would think having them in other area's through out the house is a very good idea even in a bathroom definitely around your utilities areas and your dryer very smart. Thanks ill be doing that when my husband' and I get in our new home, I'm on his account 😉
You should have taken hubby along with you Carolina to do all of the heavy lifting!! Thanks for sharing this with us and as always you're looking gorgeous as ever!!! 👍😁
I love your red shirt with leopard sleeves, nice colors on you ❤ we had a Costco membership for a while but we always ended up overspending so no Costco for my family
I live in Washington and our gas is higher than yours. Sorry you had to load and unload that all by yourself. There is always a workout hiding in chores!
I also keep fire extinguisher in the laundry room near the dryer.
That's a great idea! Thank you!
oh and the garage or a shed too

We had supper tonight from pantry. Free weiners, buns, chili and Cheetos. I only bought cheese.
Very nice!! Feels so good to cook from your pantry!
Sometimes you just have to stock the house. . .
Adulting...I don't like it..haha
We go shopping at Costco once a month.
I'm with you all I eat is fish sticks 😊
