- Today we look at ALL of Megatron's appearance's and cameos in the Energon Universe from Skybound comics! This video was very fun to do and compile all the moments our favorite decepticon leader and what he has been up to and where he is now in the current timeline. This also begs the question... When will he return in Volume 3?

Hopefully, the rest of the Autobots get revived in future issues, Primus helps them when they find out about Cybertron and what's been happening as well.
I love the building tension of Megatron being a looming threat instead of simply leading the Decepticons from the beginning. With all the devastation caused by Starscream and Soundwave in their leadership roles over the Decepticons we can only imagine how brutal Megatron will be. DWJ doesn't get near enough credit for his storytelling ability.
My theory is that like Age of extinction, cobra tries to make their own transformers but megatron hijacks them and makes them his new army
@christophercrossland7475 I have a similar theory but instead of Megatron hijacking the fake Transformers the project leads to the formation of M.A.S.K.
Yes please more videos like this. Also, Megatron’s looming shadow over the franchise has never felt scarier. Last time I was truly in awe of his villainy was in TFA when he stayed in the shadows while awaiting his new body

I think you nailed it right on it's head when comparing it to TFA. Except in this story this ain't no cartoon and I think a lot of characters are going to die once Megatron fully appears!
The whole charismatic, aggressive and damn scary shit for me was in Prime and Megatron didn't f@#$ed around once he returned there and I feel this what going to happen here, if not 10 fold!

The hype level for this is off the fucking charts. I cannot wait for Megatron to show up in the main series (not including flashbacks of course). He’s got this Thanos aura about him and I love it.

This feels like the end of a film trilogy if you ask me. The first movies villain is Starscream, the second film was Shockwave and this feels like a beginning to the third film where we got a battle ensuing between the Decepticons as they are massively unorganized and then at the end of the first third of the film, in comes Megatron to take his rightful place as the movie’s actual main antagonist and just starts ripping into everyone’s ass.
You have a huge chunk of Cybertron on earth. I'm hoping that's where the dinobots are!

Every time Megatron returns as the villain, who misses most of the action, I get Energon everytime he does that.
He done at Movies, Prime, Animated. I miss Megatron being like this whole villain for the entire run. can't wait for what they have cooking for Megatron.
I think that's a fair critique tbh. I do like how they are handling it here, as in this universe he does have some 'thanos' vibes to him.
@sonaldon-w1f That's what I liked of Energon, Animated, TF movie 1 and Prime. Sure he might miss the initial action but whenever he returns he knows how to make an entrance for sure and doesn't mess around either.
10:00 Cobra couldn't be more wrong, which Megatron demonstrates by single-handedly (literally) breaking out of containment in what's possibly the worst physical condition he could be in for his situation.

My question what is the true origin of the Decepticon cause? Also, I still hold on to my theory, Megatron is being set up as a beyond dangerous force here, he told Optimus his softness made him weak, now whenever Optimus wins a fight, it's usually when he goes on his berserk rage, my guess is that Megatron will beat Optimus, possibly kill Jazz or Wheeljack, maybe both, and the only thing that can possibly beat the Decepticons and Megatron now is an Optimus Prime who only knows only rage after having been completely taken over by the corruption happening to him: Nemesis Prime

@@spideyman1146 yeah, these writers seems to be remixing stuff from previous media while adding totally new things as well. Genius!
The whole story has been pretty dark so far. The Autobots have been, pretty much, getting their asses kicked and been severely outnumbered by the Decepticons right from the start.
Hopefully they'll get some much needed backup soon as we know from Void Rivals that, at the very least, Springer and Hot Rod are out there somewhere.

When Megatron Return I fully see a full panel with him and The Decepticons all together while hearing Instruments of Destruction playing in my head that would be the coldest comic book shot of the decade since Optimus with Megatron Arm cannon.

This iteration of megatron is comparatively more merciful compared to other incarnations.
Nah multiple were merciful like Prime, IDW, even bays mega was merciful stopped caring about earth at TF2 RoF. Stayed neutral in TF3 handing Sentinel command.
This comic book Megatron has a bit of TFE, TF1, TFA, and TFP mixed vibes here and just like all those I mentioned (and in particular TFP), Megatron didn't wasted time and wasnt f@#$in' around once he came back and you can bet your salary that this Megatron isn't going to waste time either! Hell I know a shit ton of characters are going to die for sure! But I wonder...will he and the Cobra organization going to have a massive rivalry between them? That would also be cool (and from what I've seen in these comics, Cobra feels a lot more dangerous too!).

I think it’s really cool that Megatron has this psychic control ability but then it begs the question. How is Starscream able to turn on him during the boarding action on the ark? Wouldn’t it be impossible for any Decepticon to turn on him since he could mentally shut them down? Or did Starscream build up some sort of resistance or mental blocks over time?

Megatron still turns into a gun instead of a tank and Soundwave into a boom box rather than something like a Balkan MK7 communications truck. G1 logic y’all!
