    “Ganapati Bappa Morya”
This chant is in Marathi. Literally translated, this means 'O Lord Ganapathi, our father, go ahead. Please come back again the next year'. Additionally, Morya is said to be the literal amalgamation of two Marathi words, 'Mhor' and 'Ya' which translates to come forward and bless us with wisdom

In the video I observed someone flying their drone very close to the participants. Obviously it was not yours because you narrated from the ground. You have read up on the subject and so it becomes so much more meaningful, understanding the history of this custom and yearly tradition.

They had this party for me and did not tell me? Wow, this was quite the spectacle! Very impressive! This took a lot of planning and practice for sure. At first, the music had the feel of bagpipes, which was very interesting. The costumes were top notch! And at the 18:47 mark, there is a red decoration behind you that looks very close to a Swastika. Do you know what that was? Great job filming, so much to take in.

Just want to add another comment regarding the Manji symbol or swastika depicted in many religious places of worship including Garnesha Himal. I certainly felt uneasy the first time i spotted one in Bali year's ago. History reminds us the symbol was used extensively in early Mesopotamia culture and religion in the East. Like a symbol of recognition and luck used long before nazism. Bit like the fish symbol used by the early Christians, crude but effective.

The story of Lord Ganesh's broken tusk is like...Lord Ganesh was guarding when Lord Shiva was in meditation, At that time Lord Parshuram(Avatar of Lord Vishnu) came to visit Lord Shiva but Lord Ganesh didn't let him in, It was their 1st meeting so, Lord Parshuram didn't knew who is Lord Ganesh. Lord Parshuram was known to be a strongest sage but still Lord Ganesh didn't let him go in, Hence Lord Parshuram got angry(there is a long story how Lord Parshuram become short tempered after losing his parents). so Lord Ganesh and Lord Parshuram got into fight, here Lord Ganesh could've easily won the fight against Lord Parshuram(the avatar of Lord Vishnu) but Lord Parshuram was having a weapon called Parshu(axe blade) given by Lord Shiva. so when Lord Parshuram throws his axe at Lord Ganesh, Lord Ganesh see's that it's his father's weapon so he didn't what to disrespect it by deflecting it. so Lord Ganesh didn't do anything and his tusk broked...Ganpati Bappa Morya!!!😊😊
