Anthony Hamilton is a very nice man. Very humble, and approachable. Anthony Hamilton is from Charlotte NC. Quite a many years ago, just before this album dropped I was hanging out in my dear friend's vintage shop on Central Avenue in the Plaza Midwood neighborhood in Charlotte. Who should walk through the door but Mr. Hamilton. I wish I still had the old phone with the picture of he and I on. I used to sing a little. My friend Allyson insisted I sing for Anthony. So I ruined Charlene in front of the man. I was nervous as hell, and star-struck like a mug. I sang his song so poorly, and the man was so gracious as to not say anything negative. He was so nice ! I could kick my own behind for that. He blew a few notes and showed me how it was done. Such a cool dude. My friend Allyson said he was a good customer. That he loves him some vintage clothes and things. He gave her and her son concert tickets. Backstage passes. Very cool dude, with some serious chops ! This instance, and meeting the actor Owen Wilson in a terribly drunken state on College Street after a concert are my couple little claims to fame lol. I really made a ass of myself in front of Owen. I called him right out, and went right up to him. His bodyguard just standing there next to him yapping away on the phone, didn't pay me one bit of mind. I shook his hand, and told him I thought he was an awesome actor. That was when he was in town to attend the premier of the movie "Cars" at Lowe's Motor Speedway. We had just seen Three Doors Down when they were hot, and I had gone crowd surfing for the first and only time without incident lol. I was on another plane that night. My apologies for all this name dropping, but they're just super cool memories I shall never forget.

I just discovered this song this year as many of Anthony Hamilton’s songs are played were I work. So I instantly fell in love with it. When I found it on RUclips it said 15 years ago. I’m like what??? This song has been around for that long!

Anthony Hamilton is a very nice man. Very humble, and approachable. Anthony Hamilton is from Charlotte NC. Quite a many years ago, just before this album dropped I was hanging out in my dear friend's vintage shop on Central Avenue in the Plaza Midwood neighborhood in Charlotte. Who should walk through the door but Mr. Hamilton. I wish I still had the old phone with the picture of he and I on. I used to sing a little. My friend Allyson insisted I sing for Anthony. So I ruined Charlene in front of the man. I was nervous as hell, and star-struck like a mug. I sang his song so poorly, and the man was so gracious as to not say anything negative. He was so nice ! I could kick my own behind for that. He blew a few notes and showed me how it was done. Such a cool dude. My friend Allyson said he was a good customer. That he loves him some vintage clothes and things. He gave her and her son concert tickets. Backstage passes. Very cool dude, with some serious chops ! This instance, and meeting the actor Owen Wilson in a terribly drunken state on College Street after a concert are my couple little claims to fame lol. I really made a ass of myself in front of Owen. I called him right out, and went right up to him. His bodyguard just standing there next to him yapping away on the phone, didn't pay me one bit of mind. I shook his hand, and told him I thought he was an awesome actor. That was when he was in town to attend the premier of the movie "Cars" at Lowe's Motor Speedway. We had just seen Three Doors Down when they were hot, and I had gone crowd surfing for the first and only time without incident lol. I was on another plane that night. My apologies for all this name dropping, but they're just super cool memories I shall never forget.
