"Do What You Want" explores the idea of freedom and autonomy both as a musician and a human being.
The song provides a blank canvas on which we are able to explore free, open dialogue but with a collective direction.

I love the new Rhodes in online demos, but hearing it here with a trio live and good quality sound it sounds a bit too wound up, high-strung or tight. But I have a 1975, just hits different.
The onboard compressor was employed here for that super tight sound along with the punchy new dampers we designed. Rest assured the MK8 can easily emulate the earlier pianos.

are all those sessions direct out or is there any use of an external mic amp?
Hi Vincent, this session was a mixture of stereo direct from the piano out blended with a direct pickup send going into a Fender Twin amp that was mic'd.
