How current effect ships
Sun's heating so low and ocean water so high (quantity in volume) that it can not create any convectional current as predicted by scientists.
You might wanna reconsider your reading material. "suns's heating so low?".
Sir, Sun is the sole supplier of energy to the earth and rightly it has been stated "that sun is the source of all forms of energy on earth's surface".We live and sustain life only for energy supplied by the Sun. Its intensity of energy in form of rays falling on earth continuously(say with insolation of 3 to 6 kwhr/sq.meter/day) is insufficient to generate any convectional current in volume of ocean water of depth more than 1000 meters.
"sun's heating so low" indicates heat released from heating of sun's ray for any heating purpose and it is insignificant/insufficient to create any convectional currents in heavy/high mass of ocean water on review.
@@radhashyammuduli1632 But sir, there is enough evidence that these currents do exist! The video explains that water moves in layers sir. In case of warm currents, the hot surface water moves and the layers below it move slower. As they move towards the poles, they sink down due to temperature drop. So it is not that the entire volume of water in the ocean keeps on circulating. Correct me if I'm wrong.
@@sindhum2050 Convection current may be there due to some other sources, but there is heating from sun's rays that can create any convection in body/mass of water.

IT sounds as if it is read by a robot. But even 90 degrees (which is a plausible error for a robot to make) is, I suspect, overstating the angle in question.

currents aren't caused because of wind
Ocean currents are to a degree, at least, the surface ones, which are generally a response to (or at least affected by) the prevailing wind direction. This is not the case in areas of variable or light winds.
Ocean currents should not be confused with tidal currents, which in most places flow in both directions several times a day, and which are strongest around coastlines.
