Ice Cold Gold was the stupidest gold 'reality' TV show of them all. They went there originally as a exploration team to explore future mining opportunities led by Eric. But in the end they were there for their own purposes and once they found gold deposits and then rubies the team fell apart.
The only one sticking to the original plan was Eric, who at times seemed pedantic in his research gathering, but I understood his thinking from the start. The others stuck to the plan until they saw gold and then rubies and then greed took over.
They done 2 seasons and then got shut down. It could have been a successful venture if they followed Eric and done the research and applied for the correct permits, but greed got the better of team members.
