I just love the immediate switch from “Ew romance” to “You mean it? Well then I guess I can get a little distracted 🥺🥰”, it’s kind of fitting because it both fits Tsuki’s character and also tells us that he’s still quite young. It’s in the way that he pushes the idea of romance away at first but as soon as you affirm your feelings, his emotions override his snarky front and you can hear how his tough exterior just *melts* it’s so darn cute!! It’s giving puppy love but still with a bit of tsundere still in the mix, especially with how flustered he gets when he accidentally gets very close to the listener.
The VA and the script writer did SUCH a good job on this, when I heard the awkward little “hi” I turned into a puddle, it was the cutest thing I could cry.
Many people in the fandom keep forgetting that the characters are very young. Tsukishima is fifteen, of course he'll be inexperienced, but many people forget that... I love how the Anigomi team actually adapts their scripts to match not only the characters but also their ages.
