Dude quickly became one of my favorite comedians in like the span of a year. He's like the quintessential jock bro that busts jokes out left and right.
This guy came out of nowhere for me. Never heard of him. Listened to him for maybe 20 minutes on the JRE and instantly loved him though.
Imagine if SnL had kept him. Most of us still wouldn't have heard of him by now.
He said he disagrees that losing snl was the best thing for him. He really wanted to do it. But he would have zero of his current fan base.

Yeah, I'd say he's the best in the last 3 years, at least he's MY favorite of the last few years. Definitely not a GOAT, but I do love his relatability, candor, honesty, self deprivation, and style of humor.

@@PoliticklesMEHe was a double-A athlete, & captain of the team in high-school, & was recruited to play at West-point academy in college, however I'm fairly certain he never suited-up for a single game. He absolutely was not _"on track to play in the NFL"_ though. (IIRC) Something like 8% of Collegiate players get drafted to the NFL, so only the *_elite_** of the ELITE* college players go on to play in the pros, which takes almost superhuman dedication. He made the right choice though - he'll make close similar money to what 3rd string NFL players make w/out the threat of CTE.
