Wow... Bullet travel is extremely non-physical. The suppressor didn't effect drop, yet it took longer to get there, and he aimed at the exact same scope tick. That's embarrassing.
Yea I covered that in episode 1. There is no increase in bullet drop. Even though it takes extra seconds for the bullet to arrive the trajectory is exactly the same and that makes no sense
It does effect velocity. Just very minimal, around 20 feet/sec more. Many also have a point of impact shift, however mine luckily havent ever changed my impact point on my rifles.

He didn't have to change his aim at all. It is physically impossible.

The bigger the magnification of the gun, the longer the distance icons can be seen from. For example A 6x sniper rifle can see supplies from up to 198m away when aimed down sights but a pistol can only see up to 52m away. UPDATE: This applies to all icons but a few including enemy blips. This technique can also be used to see convoys from further away but I'm unsure if it also depends on the magnification and the gun used. edit: Terrain does not seem to affect the distance but I have't done enough testing to confirm this 100%.

Did you know if you leave a drone in the air around or near you. The A.I./enemy helicopters will not go near that area. Also, you can use a drone to chase/force helicopters away or down to the ground. They will try to avoid them like crazy. If you have a drone follow the helicopter from under and force them up until your drone can't go any further. The helicopter will keep on going up. This also works with coop. If you are not spotted or in any trouble. You can send a drone to help your companion(s) and scare the helicopter(s) away.
@CoreRoss. The Grenades on the side are to do with your secondary weapons attachments. If you have a Grenade Launcher you will have 40mm grenades there, if it's a shotgun you will see two rows of 5 shotgun shells, otherwise it'll be two extra pistol mags.
Felonizer Also if you use a shotgun as a secondary, you'll get shotgun shells on your vest. Also if you equip a 40mm on your Assault rifle, you'll get them 40 mike mike pouches on your vest as well
One point about the shooting through floors thing: On each gun, it clearly has a stat called "Penetration", which determines how far it can penetrate through a surface. The HTI, for example, has the highest penetration in the game and it's great to use when an enemy ducks behind a wall or similar cover. An SMG, on the other hand, won't be able to go through surfaces as easily. Penetration is also affected by distance. What I mean by that is if you are less than 2 meters away from a wall with someone on the other side, you will be able to easily shoot through it with an M4. However, if you are 75 meters away, you may not be able to penetrate the wall as easily if at all. There is also bullet deflection through surfaces at distance too. Even close up, your bullets can ricochet off of certain objects, like the blue water barrels, to go on random trajectories.
Doors that you can kick down can be kicked in different ways. One where you just simply kick the door and opens to the side but if you shoot the door two times, preferably by the hinges. please check it out yourself and see if it works. It worked for me.
I assume being able to break the blades at all is the bug and the dev team didn't sit there and think oh yeah a plastic drone would totally destroy the steel blades of a helicopter.
Maybe the dev team had a playtester who took out an enemy chopper by ramming the blades with a drone and thought "that's a neat tactic and the playtester had fun doing it. We should leave it in so other can have fun doing it." Downside's it affects friendly choppers too.
I'm assuming that for a brief instant the drone is an invincible solid object in the world while the game loads up all it stats. Which normally would not be an issue except when it spawns inside the rapidly spinning helicopter blades.
Coreross, Shotguns DO change your vest but not with double barreled ones. LMG's do aswell but only on IBA and heavy IBA. I also remember when using the IBA last week, i had a LMG and Sniper. It would have the LMG vest but there where also some 50. caliber bullets.
Some tips about the vest loadout: 1) It consists of 2 parts, correspnding to your primary AND secondary weapon. That's why you had GL's grenades - ur secondary assault rifle had this attachment so there is an ammo for it. 2) Shotgun loadout also exists, at least for some vests. I had it having secondary shotgun with primary sniper rifle. Just as mg loadout exists for some vests, with couple of huge box magazines attached. There are different combos you can get for those 2 parts, they do not always change tho.
If you equip a sniper rifle as your primary and a shotgun as your secondary not only do you get the 3 .50 BMG rounds on your vest, but you will also have some additional shotgun shells on the right side of your vest as well
EVERY gun class has different ammo on your rig (shotguns work similar to snipers where there are shells on the outside) It depends on which order you change primarys. You changed from sniper to shotgun which doesn't work because the shotgun works by keeping the ammo on the last gun you had then adding shells and for some reason doesn't work with the sniper rig. It is kind of buggy.

First time I got stuck behind a fence I couldn't scale, after running around the perimeter for a couple of minutes being frustrated, I thought to toss a frag on it, and it immediately blew down a section of the fence, allowing me to just walk right through. I never would've thought to try with C4, that seems like a waste. Frags seemed to work just fine? I guess maybe it depends on the fence! If it matters, the fence I destroyed was somewhere in the southeast, I wanna say. La Cruz, maybe? I can't remember, it was a pretty dense pine forest, is all I know for sure. And it didn't have a concrete foundation, just fence on grass.
Fun fact: enemies will render past 850m. Just spot them and keep scoped in on them and they won't de-spawn. I got a 1039m shot on the Xbox One while playing solo doing this. Sadly, this means you can only use the remaining bullets in ur mag because as soon as you unscope, the enemy will de-spawn.
In regards to the vest changes, if you use the IBA (since it is a larger vest) it will show ammo for the shotgun and LMG pouches when they are equipped as a primary.
If you change your weapon to spas 12 or other shotguns, it will have the shotgun vest. Probably the wilderness doesn't have the vest cus it cannot be customized or its a two bullet gun
The vest does change with the shotgun shells. Since you had the grenade launcher equipped with the SCAR-H it replaces the the shotgun shells with the grenade launcher ammo.
There can be some improvements to this game... like sometimes I want a chopper and sometimes a car but I can only get chopper after I upgraded my skill to the third level
Just to let everyone know about the vests. We did a similar test. The LMG only changes your vest look if it's the heavy set vests, IBA and heavy IBA. It won't change the 5.11. It will actually change the harness as well, the same principal applies with the shotgun. Also, secondary weapons play a roll to. If you have a launcher on your secondary, you will have grenades on the side. If you have a shotgun, it will have shells.
If you wear the sniper vest with a shotgun secondary it changes those grenades to shotgun shells. It changes them to handgun mag pouches if your second gun is a SMG.
I don't know if this is well known or not, but for the rebel ops (Vehicle Drop off) you can use the Rebel Support Spotting to mark all enemies in a building and then you can use Sync Shots with you AI teammates to shoot through the build walls and clear out the enemy before you blow open the door and start the timer/event.
Might want to test the fence thing some more. I've seen both C4 and Grenades used to drop them. In fact one guy said, hold on let me make a hole, threw a grenade and viola. Maybe it depends on the fence or something.
About the LMG primary changing your vest. The 3 middle vests do not change to the LMG Loadout. The Harness Vest, IBA and Heavy IBA change to LMG Ammunition.
For the drone and chopper thing: maybe it has something to do about friendly fire. I think you can down an enemy chopper with a drone, but you can't down a teammate chopper if you are not inside. If you are inside the chopper and you use your drown, it's kinda like you are damaging yourself...i don't know if you get the idea.
2 other changes with vests I had found while playing: (1.) there are 3 other vests that change when LMG's are equipted, and LMG ammo will be on them changing the look to a 4th type of vest. The top harness and the bottom 2 vests (I forget their names) (2.) Having a shotgun as your second primary will place shotty shells on vest also, I'm using the super shorty as mine purely for costmetic looks overall (P.S. G/L Attachment will cause shells on your vest to be replaced with G/L grenades)
The vest does have an LMG loadout but glitches sometimes as for the shotgun it can be carried as a secondary and you will have shells appear on the right side of your vest so long as you don't have a grenade launcher. The harness has a slightly different set up to the vests
Depending on the bullet, if using (150 Grain). And if i guessed right based on your rifle the bullet drop would be 56 inches (4ft) at 500 yards. (1/2 a kilometer). when we play the game we have to compromise way to much for bullet drop. I know Ubisoft knows this and wants to make the game fun to play and it is a blast. just wanted to throw this out there. Also most suppressors actually make the bullet faster. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

On the beta I equipped the shorty 12G and you get shotgun shells on your body. I had the "IGA" one with the michelin man shoulder pads. The last one on the body armor list
I've found a neat way to take out two hostiles with one sniper shot as long as they are not wearing body armor, that is Unidad. Sometimes body shots will do but also when heads line up. Feat performed with MSR Sniper Rifle. Not sure if less powerful rifles will do the trick thou.
I have some info so if ur primary is a assault obviously it will have assault rifle clips but if u use shot gun as secondary it will have shot gun ammo on side of vest
Your Mk17 probably had a the m320 on it which is probably why the 40mm shells were still on your best if you put a gun w/o it and equip the shotgun a couple shells will appear on your vest
shotguns and light machine guns have their own vest. Mess around with different vests and loadouts. The light machine gun has a box of lmg ammo on the bottom left side of the vest and the shotgun has red shotgun shells strapped to the right side of the vest
It might be the vest you used but, LMGs do have an change to the style of the vest. Shot guns too but, maybe or maybe not it will need to be in slot #2 and the shot gun shells will appear off towards the bottom and side of the vest when I was using the IBA vest.
The HTI does 1 shot-destroy vs most enemy helicopters(with the perk upgraded), but when you shoot at a heliopter that's on the ground, it takes 3-4 shots to destroy...
As far as I can tell for vests; Molle harness/IBA/Heavy IBA Have the LMG mag box on them. Shotgun shells do appear on vests, unless you have an AR with a grenade launcher equipped. Grenades>Shells>Pistol/Sub Mags. Also if you have a sub instead of a pistol, longer sub mags appear.
I don’t know why explosives don’t destroy your fence, as it works fine for me as long as there’s no concrete at the base of the fence. The truck from the bonus also spawns with the Silent Spade mission when talking to Scott Mitchell

Shotgun does have a different Vest. I think it depends on the weapon itself. maybe even the vest type. because when I switch to the Spas12 i get several rows of shotgun shells on the lower corner of the vest.
At La Plaga’s house there is a bad ass truck that can only be found there and goes very fast and has really cool looks and also has really cool suspension
That might just be you in a higher leveled area and enemies are better equipped. I doubt it has any affect, but who knows? We do know that Ubisoft is notorious for having helmets be purely cosmetic so what's to stop the vest from also being cosmetic?
Benno Henniger my longest kill so far is 1,4xx meters. I tried hitting a target at 1500 meters and my buddy said he couldn't see my bullets. I'd say somewhere between 1450-1500 meters bullets will despawn.

If you fly your drone into the area that the blades could spin then it destroys both my drone and helicopter blades. My drone doesn't even touch the blades it just explodes
there are two of the base fences one with concrete at the bottom and one without the one without can be rammed with a car. the body armor foes change wearing IBA or MOLE harness will show the shells and box magazine.
You should do something in the next video over the mil dots in the sniper scopes, specifically how to use them and what ranges correspond with each dot
Both shotgun and LMG actually do have their own vests, shotguns being actually very similar to the Sniper for some reason, and having .50 cal bullets on the left, while having shotgun shells on the right: and LMG's having big ammo packs. For Shotgun's your loadout didn't change because I guess Wildreness for some reason doesn't do it, but a SPAS-12 will certainly change it. Unaware why it didn't change for the LMG though.
Aircraft Shield makes a big difference to how many hits the rotors take from drones. With it maxed out they can survive like 4-5 hits from a drone typically. So the important thing is who the pilot is and how high their Aircraft Shield rank is.

What is usually seen as Suppressors increasing bullet drop is usually a Suppressor and sub-sonic rounds.

(2.) Having a shotgun as your second primary will place shotty shells on vest also, I'm using the super shorty as mine purely for costmetic looks overall (P.S. G/L Attachment will cause shells on your vest to be replaced with G/L grenades)

There are a lot of gaps in under the fences you can crawl under. This is because they use a square fence section on sloping terrain.
The vest does have an LMG loadout but glitches sometimes
as for the shotgun it can be carried as a secondary and you will have shells appear on the right side of your vest so long as you don't have a grenade launcher.

Depending on the bullet, if using (150 Grain). And if i guessed right based on your rifle the bullet drop would be 56 inches (4ft) at 500 yards. (1/2 a kilometer). when we play the game we have to compromise way to much for bullet drop. I know Ubisoft knows this and wants to make the game fun to play and it is a blast. just wanted to throw this out there. Also most suppressors actually make the bullet faster. Please correct me if i'm wrong.
when equipping a shotgun, if you look at your characters right side of the chest rig, there will be a stack of shells attached to your chest rig

On the beta I equipped the shorty 12G and you get shotgun shells on your body. I had the "IGA" one with the michelin man shoulder pads. The last one on the body armor list
I've found a neat way to take out two hostiles with one sniper shot as long as they are not wearing body armor, that is Unidad. Sometimes body shots will do but also when heads line up. Feat performed with MSR Sniper Rifle. Not sure if less powerful rifles will do the trick thou.
The funny thing is, in real life, suppressor actually increase the bullet velocity

With the normal IBA shot gun shells show up. I used the spaz 12 once and I saw a row of shells next to the rifle magazines.
I have some info so if ur primary is a assault obviously it will have assault rifle clips but if u use shot gun as secondary it will have shot gun ammo on side of vest
Your Mk17 probably had a the m320 on it which is probably why the 40mm shells were still on your best if you put a gun w/o it and equip the shotgun a couple shells will appear on your vest
shotguns and light machine guns have their own vest. Mess around with different vests and loadouts. The light machine gun has a box of lmg ammo on the bottom left side of the vest and the shotgun has red shotgun shells strapped to the right side of the vest
I noticed when you equipped the sasg shotgun, shotgun shells would appear on the side of the vest.
It might be the vest you used but, LMGs do have an change to the style of the vest. Shot guns too but, maybe or maybe not it will need to be in slot #2 and the shot gun shells will appear off towards the bottom and side of the vest when I was using the IBA vest.

As far as I can tell for vests;
Molle harness/IBA/Heavy IBA Have the LMG mag box on them.
Shotgun shells do appear on vests, unless you have an AR with a grenade launcher equipped.
Grenades>Shells>Pistol/Sub Mags.
Also if you have a sub instead of a pistol, longer sub mags appear.
I don’t know why explosives don’t destroy your fence, as it works fine for me as long as there’s no concrete at the base of the fence. The truck from the bonus also spawns with the Silent Spade mission when talking to Scott Mitchell
if you want to make solo long shots mark a target and aim down sight looking at the target and walk backwards (keep aiming at target while walking backwards to desired range the instat you stop aming at target he will despawn) how i got a 705 meter shot in singalplayer
Shotgun does have its own. I think the shotty needs to be in secondary tho but it replaces the pistol mags spot.
do you know about the adv 'silencer' bug where it you don't keep the damage when you have the silencer? if you know about the bug, could you explain it better?

Would it be possible to fly the drone from the little bird/blackhawks co pilot seat?
If so that might a way to launch the drone from any chopper.
The vests with ammunition , it does work with Lmgs it just depends on the type of vest you have on
The ammo on the vest do change to LMG. I got a ammo box which would go under a LMG
Shotgun does have a different Vest. I think it depends on the weapon itself. maybe even the vest type. because when I switch to the Spas12 i get several rows of shotgun shells on the lower corner of the vest.
At La Plaga’s house there is a bad ass truck that can only be found there and goes very fast and has really cool looks and also has really cool suspension
Does using a heavy vest change the amount of armour/damage reduction, same as the face mask ?
I think it may I was using the heavy Iba before and now it seems I'm getting dropped incredibly quickly
CroC That's something I'd definitely like to see tested, same with getting shot in the head while wearing a helmet as apposed to not.
That might just be you in a higher leveled area and enemies are better equipped.
I doubt it has any affect, but who knows? We do know that Ubisoft is notorious for having helmets be purely cosmetic so what's to stop the vest from also being cosmetic?

I don't think so, I believe it's all just for cosmetics and it doesn't affect gameplay.
Try the IOTV and it will change everytime you change primary weapons. Looks like you're using a FLC which is basically just a harness.
Dies anyone know the exact reach wehre Sniper bullets Start to despawn?
Benno Henniger my longest kill so far is 1,4xx meters. I tried hitting a target at 1500 meters and my buddy said he couldn't see my bullets. I'd say somewhere between 1450-1500 meters bullets will despawn.

SnivyTries no. It's garbage. Ubisoft made it...it's buggy as fuck, and support sucks as usual...There's so much better open world games out there. Not sure of how console performs, I played it on PC

If you wear the IBA vest, it will change when you use an LMG as a primary. You'll have a box mag strapped to your chest
Certain LMG's like the SAW and its variants accept M4/M16 mags.

If you fly your drone into the area that the blades could spin then it destroys both my drone and helicopter blades. My drone doesn't even touch the blades it just explodes
The LMG"s do change the vest, as do the shotguns, I think it just depends on the vest type.
there are two of the base fences one with concrete at the bottom and one without the one without can be rammed with a car. the body armor foes change wearing IBA or MOLE harness will show the shells and box magazine.
You should do something in the next video over the mil dots in the sniper scopes, specifically how to use them and what ranges correspond with each dot

Both shotgun and LMG actually do have their own vests, shotguns being actually very similar to the Sniper for some reason, and having .50 cal bullets on the left, while having shotgun shells on the right: and LMG's having big ammo packs.
For Shotgun's your loadout didn't change because I guess Wildreness for some reason doesn't do it, but a SPAS-12 will certainly change it. Unaware why it didn't change for the LMG though.

Aircraft Shield makes a big difference to how many hits the rotors take from drones. With it maxed out they can survive like 4-5 hits from a drone typically. So the important thing is who the pilot is and how high their Aircraft Shield rank is.
you had an assault rifle in your 2nd slot. that is why you keep getting the assault vest. you need to change both guns to get other vests
