Best Ever Wine Cake by Garfin’s Creation | How to make Moist & Flavorful Wine Cake | Christmas Cake
Hi
Welcome to my Channel.
Ingredients: All Ingredients at Room Temperature
100 Gms Seedless Black Raisins (Kala Kismis) soaked in Wine for 5 to 7 days (Used Port Wine)
2 Eggs
80 gms Sugar powder (Bura)
70 gms (60 ml) Caramel Syrup (check link below for recipe)
100 Gms Maida / All Purpose Flour
100 Gms Butter
½ Tsp Baking Powder
1 Tbsp Glycerin
1 Tsp Vanilla Essence
2 Tsp Caramel Colour (I purchased it online from Big Basket)
8 x 4 Inches Cake Tin
Bake in pre-heated oven at 160 to 170 degree for 40 to 50 minutes or toothpick comes out clean.
Baking time also depends on oven to oven and size and type of tin used.
After Baking let it cool completely and then cling wrap in keep in the fridge for a Day. This will help in proper slicing of the cake.
The cake can then be kept at Room Temperature for a week or fridge for a month in air tight box.
Sorry I have not included the cake slicing part in this video. I thought it was getting recorded, but it did not. But believe me, this recipe is fantastic, and the end results can be seen in this video.

You can keep it out too no problem. But it's easy to slice, more moist and tastes much better the next day

Use any food grade Glycerin. If you have a store near by that sells bakery and chocolate supplies, they will have it. I have purchased it from Arife Lamould stores. Thanks for watching

This recipe already has eggs, and with Glycerin the cake is moist, and the crumb is dense.
You can purchase Glycerin online. I have not tried adding extra eggs instead of Glycerin.
You can definitely add an extra egg and try

Glycerin makes the cake moist, so do add it. Yes you can spray some wine after its baked too and then keep it in the fridge for a day, It stays good for a week outside the fridge

Hello maam, its superb that you want to make such a large quantity. I would suggest you try this recipe once as per measurements given. And then you will have to the double or triple the quantity and bake it accordingly.

You can use Brandy too, but the flavor would be different dear

Use Food Grade Glycerin, its used in many products like fondant and gum paste too.

Yes, you can use butter cream and ganache to layer and frost chocolate cakes.

Yes, you can skip the glycerin, only make sure to chill the cake well before slicing. Keeping the cake in the fridge for a day makes its moist and it slices well too. Thanks for watching

So sorry to hear this. Cake sinking in the middle may be due to:
Oven Temperature, or
Check your baking powder
Or have you removed it out too early from the oven

While baking half way through the baking time, place an aluminum foil over the cake tin and continue baking. Also check your oven temperature it may be too high. I hope this helps and all the best for your next try
